I'm going to see Asia here in Chicago. Anyone here like them? Anyone see them on the current tour? If so, how are they? I hear the tour is doing pretty well. All comments welcome (including shitty ones!).

Wanna show your devotion and appreciation?

Throw those old goat fuckers a bunch of Viagra, and Pepto Bismal, and maybe bring a bag full of Depends too. Steve Howe may shit his drawers while breaking into "Heat of the Moment."

Those guys should not be allowed to work while claiming social security checks.

God fucking awful.

At least this way I know they aren't lip-synching!! How many shows did you pay to watch Stevie Vanilli? I guess we all get screwed out of a show or two eventually. I'm still anticipating the concert....just with more realistic expectations now. Thanks for the warning guys.

I really liked the version with John Payne, Chris Slade, and Guthrie Gowan that recorded the last album "Silent Nation". Just hungrier and willing to record quality new material.

The reunited 1st lineup is only out there to cash in on Asia being mentioned in the "40 Year Old Virgin". The live show I just got sounds fine IMO, just uninspired. At least John Wetton has gotten himself together. I witnessed a rather embarassing performance he gave half in the bag a couple of years ago.

I'd go see the reunion, if it were a convenient night and not far from my house. They are up in Philly tonight and I didn't feel like making the 90 mile trip on a weeknight. Rather drink here.

SJ, pick a song from the new tour and I'll send you one (or post it here). I have the 9-3-06 show from the Fox Theatre in CT.

A friend of mine just called me from the Keswick Theatre in Philly and gave me a bit of a simulcast of tonight's show. LOL

I agree. Especially if you knew what Wetton's vocals sounded like just 4 years ago. I'd post some of that, but it would be cruel.
