I want to know the people that voted for the Wiggle.

Either they are a fag, or an overweight Farm Hog.

Steve Perry doesn't even have to move to be sexy. It just has"IT" :) He doesn't even dance well. I have to admit that JSS can really dance and he makes a great frontman. The video was cool Thanks for sharing.

JSS is such a great frontman. There'll no fans drifting off to get beers if Journey play a new song with that guy in the band...

Um... considering a lot of people at every show I went to either sat down or rushed off to get beer when they played DEAD OR ALIVE and EDGE OF THE BLADE, what makes you think new songs will hold more weight with the crowd?

I will always drift off to get a beer, no matter who is singing. 8)

Just tougher to do it during a JRNY show because of all the good songs. Still, it has to be done. I wish they would do LTS in the middle of the set. Never cared for that track and it would make a nice beer break.

Well, from what I've read many people are still arriving at the concert hall during Journey's set. So it might be fairer to judge JSS's ability to hold an audience when the band aren't warming up for someone else.

By the way...a question for any lucky veterans who saw Journey in the 1980s....did people go for beer when Perry sang a new song?

I'm not talking about the serious drinkers, by the way. Just wondered if there was the same 'beer exodus' that was such a characteristic of the Augeri era.

This has always happened at shows. I saw them twice on the ROR tour and believe me when they did a cover tune or Perry solo tune and even some of the ROR tunes people left to get beer, use the restroom, whatever.

Many people go to concerts and sit in the amphithearter bar and watch the whole show on the TV screens in the bar. Never understood that concept. Why pay for a show and basically never see the band on the stage live. But it happened back then and it still happens now.

You should be an A or B.

BTers need a G, H or M choice.

Really? That's surprising...

This explains why American bands tend to get blown away when they come to the UK. Hardly anyone leaves the show here...unless the concert is crap.

Well..why did Neal Schon use 'people going for beer' as an excuse to not play new material? If this disinterest in new material has been going on since the 1980s surely he's used to it by now?
