Question for JSS about tuning.

I have listened to a couple of boots and while I understand they are not a good medium to hear you I have to say I notice that some of the songs are making you really reach. I mean, were talking about singing S Perry vocal melodies so just about anyone alive would be in the same situation. Were not 18 anymore are we ? I never made it big but I could sing in that range 10 years ago and still can if I reach. Three songs like that and I am shredded for at least 2 songs. You know what I mean. My question is why the hell dont the guys just drop a half step ? Its no big deal and I bet no one would even mind. It keeps you from freaking ruining your voice (maybe) and makes it eaiser on everyones backups. Why wont they do this ? Now I know S. Perry fans might have a fit over this but I think at his age they would have no choice but to do this and maybe have to drop a whole step. I wouldnt care as long as it wasnt more than a whole step. I know your doing Journey and its fans a huge favor but please, dont shred your voice over it man. From what I have heard your on pitch but it seems like you are really at the top of your register sometimes and too much of that will give you Brian Johnson syndrome. Poor guy.... Sounds like a pissed of chipmonk now
