Journey on Wikipedia

I just noticed the other week that Journey's listing on wikipedia showed the current touring line up as the present line up. Seems logical. I looked back two days ago and the current line up was gone with much of the text relating to the band's history post 2000 amended. Now it's reverted back to showing the current line up. It's all a bit anal.

I believe Wikipedia can be written by anyone. No doubt that it was someone who is an Augeri fan putting things in their perspective, being that Augeri is still a member of the band, and someone else putting the line up now in. Sounds like a war to me ! I don't doubt it will go back and forth until a formal announcement on Augeri is done. :D

Definitely. I think Clasicrockldy has hit the nail on the head, It's war! It's changed twice in the last four hours. God, I need to get out of here and interact with those things they call "people". Damn nightshifts.

Wait til I figure out how to edit that page. I will do my best to make that page entertaining as well as accurate. You can probably figure out what I am thinking.

Clasicrockldy's right. Anyone can edit it! You just click "edit" beside the section you want to amend and you're in! Cool idea, but dangerous! Get stuck in there Deano.

If you vandalize it they will be quick to revert it and ban you. Wikipedia is full of pricks... I have added things to bios (legit things) and they have been deleted.
