There is a picture I saw on Perryville that is even more dramatic concerning weight loss. He is doing exactly what he told them at the WOF last Feb. He said you will hear from me soon and is practicing his scales. So ....St John is on target IMO.

It's kind of a relative thing. He's been about the same weight for more or less the last 10 years. Now, in the last 6 months, he appears to be about 20 pounds thinner. To me, that's a pretty dramatic loss, all things considered. One that would TYPICALLY, but not in all cases, signify "preparation" for an upcoming event. Say.....recording, touring or maybe an appearance or two. BUT it could also be that he is preparing to scale or Everest or run a marathon. I'll stick with comeback, though.

Yeah, he now hates hats.

I've heard a few rumors....but that could be said of any number of year since Steve last sung...we'll see I guess. Haven't been able to prove anything thus far.

Actually, he didn't say "you will hear from me soon".........he said "see ya soon" when he was leaving. If he does, GREAT, if he doesn't I'm fine with that too. Just keep pumping out those classic dvd concerts please!

Have to agree with Sallee here, I don't think it was too fast. He looks heavier in a suit jacket then he does a tshirt. Also, it has been over 4 months and it looks like he has lost 20 pounds or so, really not that drastic when you think about it.

Not just your ordinary baseball game! It was our Southern California "freeway" teams, San Diego Padres vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium. Great game, delicious eye candy!

is it just me or is everyone looking up like at a jumbo tron,,, except perry,, maybe they had him on the screen,,, ever watch letterman when he does a skit called" but whos this guy?" , he shows a celeb and some dude that accientally get caught in the photo,, i thought of that when i saw the yankee fan sitting in front of him,, "yea, but whos that guy??"

Yeah and actually, if it's been four months as you say, then 20 pounds is NOT drastic at all. Most doctors/dieticians will tell you that it's fine for a person to lose 1 to 2 pounds per week on a diet. That being the case, if he lost 1 pound a week for four months, that's 16 pounds. If he lost 2 pounds a week for four months, that's 32 pounds.

I think he looks great, but except for the hat being off in the second photo, it doesn't look to me like there's that much of a difference (please note I said he looks "great"). When most men wear baseball caps, their face looks thicker because of the absence of puffed out hair.

While I would like him to release something new, or do a few concerts here and there, ultimately, I want him to be happy doing whatever he decides to do (even if that means nothing professionally where music is concerned). I've thought and said that for years. He should do what makes him happy.
