Read this over at BT... It was by someone who's member title is "Magistrate"

"Posting pics of the band that they didn't pose for would be crossing the privacy line. We all know Steve Perry is pretty wary of his privacy. It's probably a good idea to refrain from posting candid photos of Steve (or any other band member) on Back Talk.
Photos from Getty and WireImage are ok, cell phone and digicam photos from fans are not unless he is posing with said fan. You're welcome to post about sightings but please don't put up paparazzi pictures of the guy.

Thanks all. "

Now they cant even post pictures.

Shit, the dude was in public, someone took his picture, big deal....

Sarah wasn't talking about wireimage pics as she says in her post........which is where these baseball pics came from. I think she was talking about the pics that somebody took of him eating lunch......that they waffled back and forth on posting.

Oh this is good stuff. Rest assured, if I ever get any pics, I am posting them for all to see. It's basically come down to this...Anything BT does, I do the opposite out of principle.

*Sigh* Can't we have a single day go by without somebody telling tales on BT and finding fault with everything that goes on there?

Sarah's request seems quite reasonable to me. While most photos taken without the person's knowledge or consent are quite innocent, paparazzi style pictures taken out of context can potentially be damaging. On an official website it is unlikely that ANY band would encourage such photos.

Irrespective of BT, no public figure wants to see unflattering photos of themselves, or photos that place them in compromising situations or makes them vulnerable to ridicule. At least if they are posing with a fan or are aware a picture is being taken they can put on their public face for the camera (or in Ross' case an extremely silly face. LOL).

Just imagine if Steve Perry, or Steve Augeri, or anybody else, happened to be seen hugging and greeting a friend or arguing with somebody in public, unaware they were being photographed. Such a photo could be posted with a misleading tagline and taken completely out of context, leading to more rumours and a dozen more threads getting people hot under the collar. Or maybe that's what passes for entertainment.

I know these moderate views will fall on a lot of deaf ears here but hey, everybody's point of view counts.

IAWTP and keep in mind, even PERRYVILLE does not allow photos of Steve in private! I don't see why BT needs to be paparazzi central.
