It's a great collectors' item.... Good pal of mine here hooked me up with it after about 10 years ago I had a chance to get a new cd of it, picked it up off the shelf, blinked and put it back down.

Dang! That's the only record album that I don't have. Anyone have an extra? I have some of the music from it off Napster.

The middle section of "Destiny" is my favourite Journey moment EVER and contains Steve Smith's best rock playing to date. Love it!

Not really, The journey is passed down from my dad, im only 21 so all the vinyl I have is pre owned. My dad used to have a large collection, but he sold alot of them, although he does still have EVERY Elvis release on Vinyl....

on a side note, i had a teacher in high school that ownes of 3000 records...not counting 45's. I also have a friend that owns 4000 compact discs....

PS I have some Journey 8-tracks around if anyone is interested, Escape, Departure, and Infinity.

Chevypv,

I do have a double of "Look Into The Future". When your Dad gave you his collection, does it also have the double album "In The Beginning", 1975-1977?. That is a very rare one. I found mine on ebay about a year ago. There is also a used lp music store over the river that I picked up a few Journey lps too.

Actually no, it doesn't have "In The Beginning", and quite honestly, i had totally forgotten about that one, Theres a new used record shop about 5 miles from my house that i think ill take a look at too...Im kinda trying to get vinyl of all things related to Journey where possible, ya know, singles and side projects...Im in the process of getting a new job, then ill have the finances to back my vinyl fantasies....

My best finds so far was a NM copy of Neal Schon "Late Night" and the "Still They Ride" 45 I mentioned in another thread...

I LOVE IT! I bought it on vinyl when it came out. I thought at the time that I found a real treasure and I did!

I used to perform mime and magic shows and I used Snow Theme for a particular sketch about an elderly man who befriends a dove.

Love it!

Arguably my favorite Journey album to be honest. Shame it never saw a proper CD release in the USA.

The tracks with vocals are all great. Also, I've always thought that "Daydream" from "Evolution" sounds like it could've fit perfectly on this soundtrack.

Destiny and Little Girl (especially) should've been released on albums over here. Little Girl is a classic Journey song. Love that one to death. Destiny is like, the father of Where Were You. Same guitar part but changed for WWY.

I love all the tracks with vox. That's about all I listen to, though.

I have all Journey vinyl including some 12" singles and 45s. I love vinyl in general so of course I tried to find all of Journey and Perry's. I even have an LP of FTLOSM.
