Anyone know if JSS' music i.e. Tailsman is sold in music stores? I'm totally addicted to 'The One I'm Living For' and I've looked at a few places around here (ohio) and haven't found any of them.

I strongly doubt it.

there's a slot for him at tower records. last sunday i found & purchased the last cd in the bid... lost in the translation. i moved all the other artist out of jeff's bin... now all they need to do is refill it! }:C)) i ordered essential ballads & word play off amazon... 2 weeks ago i received ballads & i LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE it! some songs sound like they could be cross over country hits... lonely shade of blue & sacred eyes. this cd is a must have... especially if you love jss... but then you prolly already have it. };C))

go to nehrecords.com

it's actually cheaper (and quicker) then amazon... especially the dvds! }:C)

I've looked all over northern Jersey and came up empty. Tried Borders, CD World, Sam Goody, Fryes, Best Buy, Circuit City and Coconuts.

Gotta order online I guess.

His last solo one I thought.
"Lost in Translation", perhaps?
Horrible title, conjurs up images of that self-serious ploddingly dull Bill Murray flick.

it really sucks because right now people (new fans or slow peeps like myself! haha!) are going to record stores looking for this jeff scott soto person ("new" singer for journey) & finding nothing. not everyone has access to the internet... and some are too paranoid to buy stuff online... like my mom! }:C)

I don't think any of his records have even recieved a U.S. release, so you're unlikely to find any of them.

It's time we all moved to another country that actually appreciates good music, since this one's pretty much screwed.

The girl in my local store hasn't even heard of Journey, so what chance have I of finding a JSS CD. I like to support local small independent stores rather than the internet big boys but at the end of the day what's the point. It's not the stores fault it's distribution but at the end of the day why bother distributing CD's 1 or 2 units to the smaller outlets, it's hardly worth it. I dislike using the visa on the net but what other way is there.

Andrew, why don't you offer his back catalogue via MR, get J to knock the unit price down to $5, nice little earner if you retail them at full price  20% discount for me though as I'm skint this month, again

Know what you mean.
This week, a DJ on Planet Rock radio played a Steve Perry solo track and said it was by the ex-lead singer of Boston!
A bloke at one of our gigs last week asked me who my favourite band were and when I told him, Journey, he said, "ooh, yeh. I always loved 'More Than A Feeling'"

People in the UK have no taste. Except those of us on here, of course!

Maybe if they come over here again, with JSS this time, we may see a change????

Best place to find any JSS or Talisman CD's are cdinzane.com

fast delivery and very reliable source.
And if they dont have it , they will order it for you,,
Best of all most of the Talisman cd's were re-issued 2004 with bonus material.
