To Dean....there are specific things with which I disagree with you on. Having said that, it's time to make a payment on the IOU about some other things, undiscussable in this space, that have come to pass.

Without further adieu....

I apologize.

Now, kiss my ass :P

Long overdue bro.
If this pertains to what I think it does, then you owe a few other people apologies, as well.

Fuck me! About 3 months too late, but good on you.

I have moved forward. I no longer even want to bring up that dark period ever again.

Journey are poised to make the greatest comeback in music history. This is their finest lineup ever. Just wait for next year.

They never went away (at least not after TBF).

That said, the potential, if we keep all present members intact (I always worry about JC now for some reason), is absolutely gigantic with Schon/JSS/Castronovo dialing up 102 MPH heat.

You will feel even stronger about that when you see them live. JSS is a superstar.

You need to see AND hear him with the band to fully appreciate his effect. You know the excitement and magic of the performance on the Houston DVD? That's back.

We're long overdue for another official DVD anyway....Borgata is a great venue for capturing the atmosphere too. I think they should pull a Bon Jovi and shoot one there next time around.

Wasn't that a great venue, you three?

Hey, 13, cool of you to start this thread. I also want to say that Dean has been right all along, and I will never doubt him again.

The magnitude of what is behind the apology, without being melodramatic, is staggering.

In a good way.

I'm not a melodicteer, I'm still a huge Augeri fan, but Dean knows the private agreement that was behind this for 6 months....and what has led to it.

Yea, but so did a lot of people who've changed the tune now that they've seen and heard the proof that he's the right guy for the gig.

Have you seen him live yet? If not, really try to make plans to do so, it is SO worth it :D

I was behind Jeff from day one, and I believe I took some abuse for it. Glad you people are finally coming around. Journey has to be witnessed live to appreciate what he brings to the band. They're back 8)

Why post this on a public forum if you are not gonna fill in the history? Why not email or pm him?

No disrespect meant, it's just now you have me wondering just what the hell the apology was for...
