Hell...I can honestly and sincerely say that Augeri's history with this band.
JSS is taking this great band and kicking it up a notch (or 10). :-)

About fucking time.
The band hasn't played live in the UK in ages.

Most of us don't have to ask but, you have to admit Deano, this is something the band is going to have to 'Officially' address sometime soon...
March 07 would be a nice 9 month break for Mr. Augeri... It's pretty obvious that, if Jeff does these UK shows, it is a done deal, Official Statement or not.
The funny thing is, by March, I'm sure Dsm will have another 500 posts to that Pos-Enrgy thread...

Sad, very sad...

Carlitto...I HONESTLY don't think that they're gonna address "tapegate". I think that they might say something like "Due to the ongoing throat problems, Steve Augeri won't be with us any longer. But Please give a warm Journey welcome to JSS". IF that. In other words...I think that the early shows Intros were the "done deal". Speculation on my part..But I DO believe it. :-)

That's good...maybe it's a sign they'll tour on their own in the US as well...sorry but I'm not paying upwards of $80 to see Journey play for a little over an hour on this "co-headlining" thing. I'd love to see Journey and JSS do their own show, I think it'd be amazing if his voice holds up.

No doubt; "TapeGate" will not be addressed and why should they??? I could careless if they ever announce it 'officially'...
But I'm not the only Journey fan in the world :)
No matter how cheesy it is, SOMETHING is gonna have to be said for all the Wigglers out there that are still in denial. If not, by March 07 you'll be reading posts like,
"We miss you Steve! Hope your getting ready to get back onstage with the guys this summer! Send you some good-morning-love Steve! Blah blah blah blah blah..."

God, I hope someone makes a monster Tall Stories MB soon so we can be rid of them all!

I happen to think that "the Wigglers" are gonna hang themselves anyway if SA doesn't return. Kinda sad. ENJOY THE MUSIC AND DON'T FOCUS TOO MUCH ON THE PEOPLE MAKING IT. (Not directed at you Carlitto).

Clyde Auditorium, at last Glasgow gets a shout.... A1 venue and I'll be there 8) Funny how it didn't show on the UK tickets list Marty :?

Journey, Styx in the UK again next year, Shaw/Blades project, new Journey CD, Perry back recording new songs, Deano on cloud 9...fuck me, it simply don't get any better. Pity we couldn't bring back Cooke, now that would be the icing on the cake 8)

All's good in Styxman land, no train ticket for me

Hey and not only that, it's my Son's birthday on the 2nd March so I said I'd get the three tickets as a birthday present rather than waste money on Play Station games, he's only 13 so there's plenty more birthdays to spoil him with kids presents. I've saved train fares and birthday money all in one morning, fantastic

He went to the last show and thought SA was the coolest on stage  So let hope he says the same thing about JSS, I'm sure he will  When I said he won't be getting any birthday presents, I lied, he'll get a mars bar and card, what more could a kid want 8) Trouble is, he got a great meet and greet with all the Styx guys, so he expects this everytime now. You know who he'd really like to see - Steve Perry, it's that warner brothers Stand alone tune, he had the CD as a young kid and he keeps playing it over and over again together with Adeamos, I think that's how its spelt. Classical stuff but pretty good all the same 8)
