Where can I hear Steve Perry singing, "You're on Your O

I think that is the song I am hearing just a bit of on the 1978 Soundstage video - in the beginning when they show Journey playing at Soldiers Field. I had to look up the lyrics I heard below so I think this is the song from one of the early Journey albums. Does anyone have the entire song? (or direct me to the previous thread for boots).

"Well, try to make up your mind
Well, try to make up your mind, yeah"

Anyway, love that Soundstage PBS special (wish it was a clear copy) with Steve singing the old, old songs like, "On a Saturday Night"

thanks!

I thought it was Steve, at least I'm pretty sure, it is kinda under the narrator's voice.

LOVE Spaceman!

Silverblue, if it IS Your're On Your Own, I think I have a few live versions of that I could share. But I don't remember Perry singing on it like he does on Satuday Night (i love that too!!!). I will check them out.
Do you have the Comisky Park show where Perry shares leads on Next? awesome. (could share that, too, if you don't have it. That whole show is amazing!

Yes, I would love to hear the LIVE versions of "you're on your own" & the Comisky Park show if it is Steve Perry singing it - I just heard the clip on iTunes of Rolie singing, so I know it is SP singing it at Soldiers Field in '78 (the Rolling Stones were on the bill).
Who played with Journey at Comisky Park? Was it also in '78 or '79? I didn't see them until '79 in Houston, but I remember when friends & some of my siblings saw them in '78-'79 either at Soldiers or Comisky...I became a fan because of them - playing "Infinity" in the house!

I have vesion of You're On Your Own From 78 in Cali that has Steve singing over Gregg on the words you quoted above, but the rest of the song is mostly Gregg. Sound quality is not the best. I'll post it if you like.

Clasicrockldy, I think you have it from Guitars. The show is called Look Into The Future.

Thanks, Sallee - that is a good song. If you have a version with Steve singing lead, I'd appreciate it...I am hearing his voice & not Gregg's on the '78 Soldiers Field concert at the beginning of Soundstage, so he may have sung the lead later. :)

That would be a very short snippet of a song. I have the Soundstage video and audio, but it would be hard for me to isolate that small clip. As far as I know, and I could be wrong, Steve didn't really sing lead on that song. :D

Lol! Brilliant idea!

Sorry for the delay folks, but life has a pesky way of getting in the way. Plus, I have a less clunky version of this, but can't seem to find it. This will do for now.
(have more to share, but may be a little while...)

ENJOY!!! (let me know if there are any problems)
