Journey's New Worldwide Direction

Just thinking out loud. Since the boys booked more shows so soon in the UK, I was thinking maybe part of their new strategy is to become more well know worldwide. JSS has the exposure outside the US which could lead to some significant sales worldwide vs. just the US market which we all know is mostly crap and not getting any better. Hell, would you have guessed that Deep Purple sold over 1 million copies of their latest CD worldwide? Nobody in the US gives a rats ass about them but they are able to do great business outside the lame US market.

It's true that they originally were a British band that hit it big over here with "Smoke On The Water" but since JSS is popular in Europe, Japan etc. maybe it's time to go after that market as well. Thoughts?

Why not? Journey hasn't, from my knowledge, captured that market. And with JSS already being well known over the pond, they would be fools not to tap into that market. :D

Yeah, like 1998 when Steve P. left or was fired, women would have told them to wait for surgery no matter how long it took, but then we wouldn't have anything to complain about now. Still wish it hadn't happened. They were so foolish. :x
