However do elaborate on the voice, mannerism and I guess if you must the dancing!

I have to leave the smut to a minimum. Oh come on. That's no fun
IMO Fleischman was just not right for Journey. He's not bad looking but he doesn't do it for me.
Gregg was & still is a very sexy man. He has aged very well. I love his voice but it was never powerful enough to front Journey IMO. However, his melodies w/Perry are timeless & priceless. I never saw either of those 2 dance so I can't comment on that.
Overall, I prefer Steve Perry as the frontman because I love worship & adore his voice, his style, the soul of his voice combined w/the incredible highs, the way he moved & the passion he brought to every single song he sang every time he sang them. I also love the way the man looks & has always looked. He had an incredible sex appeal that isn't your typical goodlooking guy's appeal. Just something very special. I loved the way he danced. It was cute.
Augeri is a nicelooking guy but he didn't quite do it for me either. His voice when it was good was okay for a concert. But it didn't have the power Journey needed. His dancing seems to have turned a lot of people on, but I thought it was a bit girlie.
Since Perry isnt the frontman anymore and won't be again, I choose Jeff as my preferable frontman now. I really like the fullness of his voice which has a lot of soul & a rich deep quality to it, different from Perry, but flattering to the songs nonetheless. He has amazing vocal power & I think a rock band needs that. Jeff has some very sexy manly dances (particularly on Stand Up & Shout) that do something to me (I'm keeping it clean). He's still hot w/short hair, but I have to admit, his long curly locks really appealed to me. Although I never thought I'd say this, he brings something extra to Journey that even Perry didn't know how to do. Jeff's willingness to communicate directly w/fans, laugh at himself & w/us, and the down to earth attitude is something I've never come across in any lead singer of any band before. He's generous, kind, aware of what's going on w/fans & what they need. I think this might be just as exciting for him as it is for all of us. I don't think this is just another paycheck or a way to make money for him. I think it's a dream come true that reaches back to a teen Jeff singing along to Journey songs at his highschool prom.
If I had to choose between Perry & Jeff today to front Journey into the future, I would actually choose Jeff. There's too much bad blood/hard feelings w/Perry now & they can't go back there. There would also be conflict as Perry would want to run the show & Neal/Jon wouldn't care fo that. W/Jeff, there's a chemistry that is working for the band & an opportunity to write & have a future. They can do TV/radio appearances if offered them. (Heck JourneyGal posted a clip of Foreigner on the Today show & I thought why not Journey? But they couldn't do that w/Augeri unable to sing. Now with Jeff, they can do those kind of things & hopefully, they'll be offered.) Also, Jeff's looks/voice, overall internet savviness & openness appeal to younger fans as well as old. He may be able to give a classic rock band a new chance in today's music scene. That's something I don't think anyone else could give them. If I could turn back time & have the Perry of old w/the band of old & the 80s music scene, I would do it in a second. But things are different now & music is very different. So IMHO Jeff is the man to journey forward into the future.
The pic u chose of Jeff is not the most flattering. Here are my 2 all-time favorites of him to date. MMM.
