Anybody grab any of these yet?
I got Departure, TBF next b/c of the overrated but still good I Can See It In Your Eyes.
But are any of these things actually remastered I mean since the 96 remasters?
JDK said all the classics + SP's solo stuff was being brought soundwise up to the latest state of the art. But that didn't seem to be the case with the August wave.
Either way, I'll prolly grab ESC4P3, then FTLOSM, 1 Hit, Some Other....+5, then Frontiers and ROR all in that order next. Hell, I'll eventually upgrade them all for completeism's sake, but without bonuses at the moment Inf, Ev, and Capt and Street Talk are last on the list.

I bought the 5 Journey CD's, but none by Perry....
The Best Buy clerk said they didn't receive any by him.

I looked for the Perrys @ CC but all I saw was the '98 version of Hit/ Other Songs +5.

Thought I had heard nothing soundwise had been done, the extra songs were already had by anyone interested...are the extra pics worth the expense? I'm through being held at gunpoint by Sony's rehashed stuff, hell, I used to even feel like buying everything just to support the band and have the whole collection, no more. How many of the same do I need? Course I still don't have the remastered Captured and Greatest Hits, '96 versions. May have to get those to round out the remasters, don't have Essentials yet either. Other than possibly those, I'm done except for anything new. I'd like to see comments from Neal similar to what Steve Lukather has said about Sony's rehashing of old Toto. Sadly, I believe that Neal and Jon are more interested in the money than the principle.
PS: I'm holding out for the remasters of the holy trinity of Journey, Look Into The Future and Next....

Ya I know, more $ than brains....but had to have them.

As of today have them all but Departure (figures....the Journey one I wanted the most)....wasn't released here for some reason. Oh well.....get it later, I guess. Having a listen here at work, volume too low to tell if the sound is any better yet.....but I like the bonus tracks on StreetTalk so far. Also TBF booklet has some great rare pics of the guys......see if I can post some later.

The only CD I need to buy because somehow it's missing from my collection, is Frontiers. I'll probably buy the newer updated version, but not because I want to. I don't care much about the booklets, but I do look through them when I get them. once.

Few from TBF.
Why does Perry look like Geronimo, Cain looks like Christ, Steve Smith looks like the new Howie Mandell, Schon looks cool as fuck, and Ross looks like the dude on Wings.

I will have to get my reissues one at a time, each month. I am seriously behind in getting the rest of the first re-issues with the booklets. Damn Wal-Mart only carried the GH and Escape.
I wil have to take the bus over to the dinky mall in Yuba City to see if they have them at FYE.

What a great call (the Wings comment). I loved that dumbass show. That fat dude Roy was one of a kind.

St John, I am going to ask you again.

I answered you in the other thread. I THINK it's Yasmine Bleeth, but I picked it because it reminded me of Tiffany Amber Theisen. Either way, the bitch is smokin'.

Andrea Corr is hot, but the chick in St. John's avatar looks more like Yasmine Bleeth to me.
