HOLY SHIT!
You do look like JB?!?!?!

Bet JB would never root for those lowly Ravens though :)

I know, I know... My Steelers are only 1-2.

Big Ben is just shaking off the rust. Our teams will both be slugging it out for the division when it's all said and done. I'm not sold on the Bengals just yet.

After watching the Bengals PUTRID performance against what is a VERY average Patriots team...I'll NEVER be sold on them! That was an embarrassment of a performance. The Bengals should have beat the Patriots by at least two touchdowns (And this is coming from a lifelong PATS fan!) and instead, got their asses handed to them. I guess that's what happens when 5 guys from your team get arrested every week!

We are in shock here in Cincinnati. Marvin kept Henry( tough love) out and threw the other player with the more serious charges of DUI off the team and the guy misses out on his $300,000.00 NFL salary . Plus, there are injuries to the Offensive line and young talent playing there , so Carson sits on his butt and/or is rushed all afternoon. Geez ,last week one lineman had a broken neck & is out for the season. They have a bye and sometime to heal or pick up other players. Remember they decimated Pittsburgh 2 weeks ago because Ben is still unsteady & the Bengals had their regs playing. Ben has used up 2 of his 9 lives just in the last 2 months. So lucky, beacause rarely anyone who has a head injury functions completely/ normally again. So shut up already as they are 3 & 1. Its a long season and here in Cincy we are used to YEARS of long seasons! I remember 2 win seasons after Boomer until Marvin became coach. Marvin is GAWD !! Also, the turning point was the penalty on our safety who hit the receiver shoudler to shoulder horizonatially . Good legal hit 15 yr flag ! TV replays make FOOLS out of the refs. What is the NFL rule ? You can only hit 5 MPH 7MPH or what? These part time refs ruin the game. I feel for the fools that pay thousands to see their team play only to have the whole turnout of the game bungled. Is the NFL fixed to create dynasties for revenue? We will never know conclusively.

The NEXT time you see Schon, Cain & Ross tell THEM to stop living in the past,

I wouldn't say that, other than on this tour. And being on a co-headling bill, playing the oldies is what makes sense.

It's not their fault that Arrival & Generations were ignored by the general public. Journey has put out more new music over the last 8 years than many of their contemporaries.

According to that logic, a new Journey album with JSS will fail too.

I'm not debating what a new album will do chart wise. My response was to this statement:

The NEXT time you see Schon, Cain & Ross tell THEM to stop living in the past,

I have heard plenty of new music from Journey in concert live since 1998. They have put it out there, and I have liked quite a few of the songs. Looking forward to another new offering from them soon hopefully.

Still waiting for Steve Pelican, errrrrh Perry to record ANYTHING new.

Well, I haven't entirely given up hope that a new Journey album with JSS will make an impact. But maybe that's just a fan's wishful thinking...

I have heard plenty of new music from Journey in concert live since 1998.

When I saw them over 90% of their setlist was from the late 70s/early 80s. And they weren't supporting Def Leppard either. It was a headline tour. Sure, they played about two or three token songs from the Augeri era - but overall it they were undoubtedly a band 'living in the past'.

Compare this to Rush in 2004 whose set-list equally represented all their albums from 1974 to the present day. This was a band who had clearly evolved and they didn't restrict their set to their three most successful years.

But yes...Journey have been releasing new material. The trouble is...back in 2001 75% of CD-buying Journey fans ignored "Arrival" and the band responded to this disaster by concentrating on their set-list from 1983 ... instead of pushing forward in the kind of serious and meaningful way which - we all hope - they are just starting to do now.

Still waiting for Steve Pelican, errrrrh Perry to record ANYTHING new.

Yes. So am I.
