I thought that was rather fucked up as well. Oh well....that's Steve Perry's 2nd solo album and I guess he chooses the pics.

Jackson & Baird were hired guns, nothing more. They weren't actual card carrying band members, so I wouldn't expect them to be included.

Great pics! Too bad they didn't REALLY play 2 days in Houston in December, 1986. The concert was rescheduled from the 9th to the 10th.

Yes, from when I got to see him in Memphis this year in July. GREAT show, one of about 10 pictures that turned out half way decent-ERIC

These pics brought back memories of the "Schon" Guitar. I always thoought they looked cool, but I never new if they were any good. Of course Neal can make any guitar sound good.

Any of the guitar players on the board have one of these. How do they sound? Comparisons to the Strat, Les Paul, etc.?

I never got to play one but, if your interested, go to the "Castles Burning" section of BT. There are a few folks there, including Allen from Bannanas (He takes care of most of Neal's equipment), that own some of these guitars and they can fill you in... There's one guy there that is will ing to sell 2 of them too! I know... I inquired but they were WAY outa my price range :(

I know Neal's had some custom guitars made by Paul Reed Smith (PRS) - my brother-in-law's a manager at their HQS/Factory in Stevensville, MD (have to give a shout-out to them! www.prsguitars.com) I'm not a guitar expert by any means and don't know if he ever played a PRS in earlier concerts but I know they're highly praised as having excellent craftmanship, check them out....
