Journey Tour Date & T shirt Question

Hi

I have an old classic Journey tour T-shirt which I got from ebay many moons ago, and is now framed and on my wall.
It has the word 'Rockin in California... Ventura County Fairgrounds.... June 7,8,9' on it
Can anyone tell me what year this was? Not listed on any of the tourdates on the re-issue booklets.
Definately pre-escape.
Any info much appreciated.

Any Cover ARt or designs???

Hi

The T-shirt has Infinity, Evolution and Captured cover art at the top and a black & white band picture below, with the Departure art and words underneath.
This is one side of the shirt, as it's now in a frame and I can't really remember the other side
Did they tour the Captured album?

I have a boot of a show from 6/6/81 from the Ventura County Fair. Not quite the right date, though.

(Actually, I just looked it up on another boot site, and they have one for VSF- 6/7/81, which fits your shirt better.)

6/6/81 is the correct date. I was there. 10 miles from my house.

Just think, Escape show for 7 bucks....Never again.
