Just picked this up. along with a few other live cuts, from our fave Journey tribute singer..the great , great Jeremy, and his band Frontiers

No overdubs, no protools, just one fantastic singer..... listen objectively, and then dare tell me that this isnt the guy who should be up there...doin it for real with Journey. .. my opinion!

and please, we already know Jeremy isnt touting for the job.. and doesnt want to put himself forward...so dont even go there spoiling for an argument...also, I dont know Jeremy from Adam.. no links to him, not related etc etc..I just know a shit hot singer when I hear one !!

Yeah, I saw it over there at guitars101. I've downloaded so many journey boots my hard drive is filling up. Still really good sounding mix. Sounds like a great crowd too. Where was it recorded? Sorry for my ignorance folks!
I live in Seattle so there's no way I could catch one of their shows.

brywool, it sounds to me like you need to burn those Journey music files ! I had too many on my harddrive, so I burned them to cd.

Sh!t, now guitars101 has an Evolution show with Hugo from 2006 but I can't download it - Mega Upload always tells me that the download limit is exceeded even if the file has just been posted.

I burn them anyway, brywool. It doesn't matter what the sound quality is to me. I am working now on filling up my second plastic cd tote !

Brywool, you could get an external storage device. Even the usb flash drives are getting up into the gigs (and they're about the size of a cig lighter)

or you could get something even more substantial...

My computer slowed dwn from all of the music i had on it, lol. runs much better now...

Jeez.. I agree..I have a tonne of Jrny stuff on my hard drive...gotta say though, that the crystal clear quality of this Frontiers gig is awesome!! just burnin it to CD now.... then I will settle myself in the living room, headphones on, and take in that "hi fi" rush!!! lol

Another kickass performance by Jeremey! Perry's songs are ridiculously difficult to sing and you continue to do them very well. I especially liked the opening to the song...Very Perry-Esque!

Yes, but, unlike Hugo...At least Jeremey isn't trying to look like Perry and clone his every move on stage!!!!! I have never had a problem with a guy sounding like Perry (hell, who wouldn't want to?). It's not like you can make yourself sound like someone if the natural ability isn't already in place. Jeremey clearly has a god given talent and ability that he takes full advantage of, and he'd be nuts if he didn't!

I agree completely John, Jeremey has a gift, and is incredible to see perform live. He didn't need to clone SP to make his performance powerful.

I have plans to see Hugo in a couple of weeks, and am curious to see what he is like live as well....
