okay... so i was riding to work this morning listening to mark & brain (morning guys on klos... klos is sponsoring the socal shows)... they start talking about the up & coming journey shows friday & saturday. they start talking about augeri and ask if he is back & who has been filling in while he's been away. they have no idea. they have no idea that jeff scott soto is filling in & probably don't even know who he is... like most of the people i ask. mark i think says that augeri is back... they go to break & someone goes to check if indeed augeri is back with journey. when they return it's reported that steve augeri IS back. with this news i go to work knowing it will be HOURS before i can get online to find out if this is a fact. i guess not since nobody here or on bt are talking about it. }:C))

i might have to send them an email with a link to jeff's website & media page. }=C)

if anybody else wants to leave a message please do so. be nice though... the people at klos are really cool... just clueless about some things i guess. }:C)

This is the silliest thing I've ever heard, major disc jockeys don't know that JSS is the lead singer for Journey now? they should be fired. Now their entire audience from this morning has the wrong information, JSS needs to call the show tomorrow-or Neal or someone.

Like I said, after eight years of Augeri in the band, with the touring, with the radio shows and interviews, all of that 'stuff' replacing Perry - They now have to start ALL OVER...and they are NOT doing it by opening up for Def Leppard and doing NO promo on their own.

Why wouldn't they? Didn't they perform in the studio with them, or was that another show? I know Perry sang "Happy Birthday" to Brian years ago. It's not like those guys do not have connections to Journey.

Normally I'd expect nothing less, but the radio station that signs their paychecks is sponsoring the L.A. and San Bernadino shows. Then there was the crap that went down with Soul SirkUS . The fact that they picked up on Dean's claims only goes to show that word was spreading to more media outlets.[/i]

Fuck M&B.. They only pretend to be fans of Journey. They only participated in the WOF for Journey in Hollywood for the ratings. They could care less about Journey, Steve Perry & Neal. They are a sorry couple of scum sacks. KLOS overall sucks, as they haven't the balls to play nothing but old stuff from classic rock bands. Have some damn balls KLOS! Do what you used to do! Now I agree with Lula on this. If the station the DJ's are on are sponsoring the shows......... then, damn it, they should know everything about who is playing and who isn't. Dumbfucks.

I don't think that is quite true either. Most of the reviews I have read concentrate more on DL then Journey anyway...And, the latter doesn't mean they should know the former, either. When Journey doesn't do ANY interviews, why should they know anything?

If Journey wants to PROVE something - they need to tour on their own.

Otherwise, they are just a good opening band for other 80's nostalgia acts like Def Leppard.
