"I'll Be Alright Without You"................. from the Hollywood Bowl !

Now the person who recorded this got most of the show. He had to cut out about 4 songs due to the fact that it was raining at the Bowl, and it messed with his recording equipment.

It's a CD recorded straight off the mixing board. You know, that thing about halfway back through the arena, where all the sound guys hang out? You don't hear crowd noise unless they throw an open mic up and get the crowd, and they can add that to the recording disc.

The soundboard is basically where the sound is controlled for the band. All the instruments run through the soundboard and all the mixing, volume, etc., is done there.

Thanks guys for explaining it to me. Now I know why they don't sound so great sometimes with all the audience noise etc.

I did receive an answer from the person who recorded the Hollywood Bowl show, and he says he didn't go to the San Berdoo show, so I am hoping that someone who went recorded the show. I will keep looking at the boot sites to see if anything comes up.

No, he lost only 4 out of 18. He lost SSB, Stone In Love, Ask The Lonely and Separate Ways.
