Which one of them is singing "Open Arms" at the Hollywood Bowl? It sounds like Jeff to me, but not 100% sure. I've always despised Open Arms, but thought I'd give it a listen to see if someone else singing it would change my opinion. The verdict: The song still sucks, but whomever it is singing lead does a superb job with the song.
Another observation...Jeff REALLY needs to sing "I'll Be Alright Without You" more often. The Hollywood Bowl boot wasn't great quality. That said, I've heard him sing this song in three different recordings, and all three were VERY good. That particular track seems to have a certain amount of soul that Jeff seems to connect with. The best track I've heard him sing, thusfar, is "Lights". Even though the Hollywood Bowl boot wasn't great quality, "Lights" KICKED ASS!!!!
I'd still love to hear the guy sing "Why Can't This Night Go On Forever" from ROR to see if he can actually pull off those notes. Has anyone ever heard Journey play this track live (with any lead singer)? I'm sure they most definitely played it on the original Raised on Radio tour. Just wondering if anyone has heard that track life, outside of the ROR tour.

I have no clue who sang it, since I wasn't there, but I agree with you about Open Arms in general. The only good thing about the song is the chorus...and the end.

It's Deen! It's muffled, but Jeff introduces him. I have to agree with ya, JSS has the voice for the ROR stuff..... definately does it justice.

As much as I loathe ROR, I would love it if they put "Suzanne" back in the set for Deeno to sing!
