As per Dean's suggestion - a new thread.

We are going to want the final head count for the Thursday 11/9 party and Friday 11/10 pre show by this weekend via PM. I have already heard from many of you. Will want a final PM confirming again though.

In that I will want to know:

For Thursday if you are:

1. Just showing up
2. Showing up and drinking (we are getting kegs)
3. Showing up and eating
4. Showing up and eating & drinking

The menu will have a Maryland flavor with crab cakes and crab soup, but will also include meatballs, veggies and all kinds of stuff. We will ask for a certain amount of cash for food, drinks, or food and drinks depending on the head count. If you just want to hang out, then no charge.

Also some can crash at my place, but it will be pretty much floor space (bring an air mattress or sleeping bag)

For Friday:

Let me know who is interested in the preshow get together. A few bars have been contacted. We are going to try to go about 3 miles outside of downtown (away from the tourist trap prices) We will be on a main strip with Mass Transit buses available to the Arena for 2 bucks and only a $6 cab ride away and cabs are plentiful. We can also car pool depending on who is not sloshed. This is as it stands now.

We are also considering a limo rental to the show. I will need to know if anyone has interest in that.

I should also mention that BT people are having their Friday pre-show @ the Hard Rock Cafe from 3:30 to 7. Hope they enjoy the 5 dollar beers.

The place I have scoped has $1.50 domestic bottles/$2.50 imports and half price appetizers from 4 to 7.

Our pre-show on Friday will probably go from 2 to 6:30. We want to break a little earlier because we will be 3 miles from the Arena. However it is an easy drive, cheap cab ride, and the bus runs almost door to door.

We can also car pool it to save on parking downtown. (No charge to park at our pre-show)

More advice: Do not park in the 1st Mariner Arena garage for the concert. It is pricey and takes FOREVER to empty out. Use any of the other nearby garages instead.

Mini Maryland crab cakes (crab meat, breading and spice) a definite favorite of Ed's
Meat balls in mushroom and onion gravy
Maryland crab soup (vegatable/tomato broth soup with crab meat) another favorite of Ed's and everyone tells me that I make the best.
7 layer Mexican dip
Brucshetta and bread slices

If anyone wants to suggest something else, please do so. I might not be able to accommodate but will try my best.
