Yeah, part-time though, 2 kids to take care of the rest of the time, which right now 1 is napping, & my kindergartener is doing a puzzle on the floor, finished his homework (can you believe K'ers have homework? lol), hubby (cop) is napping too, works 12-hour night shifts (which suck @ss).

Hey Melissa! My hubby is a fireman, 24 hour shifts...I know what you mean

MSR! My brother's a fireman, he does the 24-hour shifts too. He LOOOOOVES his job though, aren't they crazy? lol

And JGal- totally agree, WTF with K'ers having homework??? He's my oldest (my daughter's only 16 months) so this is all new to me this year! lol

I have been going around upgrading computers today.....so I steal a few minutes of forum board time here and there....plus it's Friday and I'm ready to go home!!!

LOL, my daughter is in highschool, the homework never ends..........only in HS it's all about looking good while you do it.

Yep ! When my youngest daughter was in kindergarten, I asked why they had homework. The teacher said to teach them good homework habits early !

Two years ago my daughter was in 7th grade and I was taking a college statistics course, we were both sitting at the table doing homework and at one point I looked over and noticed that we were both doing the same type of problems!!!

I hated homework the first time around... now I'm going thru it all again
