Fucker wasn't awful at all. Just wasn't capable of pulling off a full show. Should have stepped down and avoided all the shit.

When he was on - he was ok. Voice breaks a bit, but not horrifying. Not tour ready by any stretch, but no need for tapes.

Jeff is better anyway, but I think Augeri is ok. Needed Deen to bail him out where JSS doesn't. But passable.

It is not that bad. It ain't great bro, LOL, but it isn't too bad. Just my opinion. We are friends, and can differ in opinion. Change was absolutely necessary. I fucking heard the soundcheck in Hershey. AWFUL. But most of this show seems passable. But Journey is better than passable.

Listen again. Hear where Deen bails him out (all the time). That's the part that sounds good. Differentiate between Deen helping & Augie singing. Sing along on key. I know U can. Hear him go flat LOTS. Hear his voice croak as he can't reach the notes. Listen to him talk. His voice is G-O-N-E. Poor guy. I do feel sorry for him. But yeah. He shoulda stepped down.

U hit it exactly on the head here. If u really listen to that boot closely & have an ear for it, u start to wonder the extent of Deen's help. He's always there making a lousy bit sound good.
