Found this in another thread. Would you be kind enough to post this performance that's mentioned? I'd love to hear it.

There is ONE song where SA might sing better.....or differently....
Ask the Lonely. Perry rushed that fucking song everytime. I heard him mess it up royally at the Cow palace in Frisco in 86, and he sang the 2nd verse first and then the 2nd verse again, and you really couldn't tell unless you were hardcore fan.

Thank you for posting that. I must say that as boots go, this was Perry at his finest. When you really consider how shitty the sound quality is (i.e. the background noise), and listen to Perry's voice...This is as good as it gets. Thanks again for posting that.

You were one of the only other "Shit stirrers" I had with me on Jackass Central. Oh well. I haven't posted on that moronic site in well over a month and have no intention of posting there ever again. After 6 years of getting emails from the jackass mods telling me what my opinion should be, I had enough of it and left that waste of internet space, voluntarily. I simply couldn't take the nauseating threads from the Augeri crotch sniffers and that bonehead Rich with his daily "The official word from Journey is that Mr. Augeri is recovering from a chronic throat infection and we should speculate about anything else". This site is 1000 times better and Andrew should teach those other dopes how to run a website. Honestly, I wish someone had told me about this website a long time ago. It would have saved me the 6 years of bullshit and nonsense!

Hi,
I'm a newbie here. I couldn't stand it at BT and a friend told me about this.
I was so pissed about that whole scarab talk. I was too lazy to walk upstairs to get my freaking password that I can never remember, but first thing tomorrow...I am going to address it at BT.
SP brought that band to fame and fortune. I hate the disrespect there. IMO Perry has the best voice of all times...at least it is true for me...no one's voice does to me what his voice does in any year. I love the early Perry..just as much as the TBF Perry. I love how his voice was lower...more mature. Besides WYLAW, he also set my heart on fire with Dont Be Down On Me, Easy to Fall and Rain. I know, I know, I am enamored...he could sing the word shit over and over again and I would still love it.
I saw Journey for the first time ever in 2005 (never was able to see them...I was in a controlling marriage-now I am free and living life) with Augeri. I left thinking, I had a good time because I love those songs...but....please...he sounds nothing like Perry and at times I could hardly hear him. But then, there was another voice, and I asked "whose singing" and my daughter answered the drummer. I thought ...why don't they let him sing all the songs. Anyway, I saw them again this year and oh my God....sorry...but what a difference...JSS has a much better and stronger voice. Plus, he was like the energizer bunny for Journey. I am going again to see them in Manchester, NH. I am also a fan of DL now. I think I was sleepwalking in the eighties. That being said, for me, still, no ones voice measures up to SP. But God, I am hoping that JSS is permanent. I am assuming that the news will be that Augeri is out after all the legalize is completed.
L~L~L.......I agree, I would sell whatever and whoever to see SP back. But, I think Hell will freeze over before we see that.
