Excited for another wonderful chapter in the career of this great band. These guys deserve this. Let's do it right guys!!

May I add to that it depends on what other info. may be released. It something about that ugly subject comes out, I could be shocked.

On the "other" forum it may result in elevated blood pressure & crying fests tho. Hopefully no heart attacks or suicides.

But, I seriously doubt there will be anything surprising or "shocking".

good points... because were focused on a few things... we as fans dont know the whole picture... maybe I should have added a nother header... like NERVOUSLLY and CAUTIOUSLLY OPTIMISTIC???? Besides being Excited....That covers a lot of ground...

Also, I would like to commend Andrew on keeping most of this close to the vest. Gotta be hard. I think he has given enough indicators to figure out about JSS being lead singer, along with Deano reporting it a long time ago. But other than that and the talk about an album, he has let nothing out. That sucks, but good job buddy!!

I am one who doubts that the interviews will be as enlightening as we all have been led to believe....

That being said, I think the bottom line is that Augeri is out and JSS is in. Journey will continue to be a huge draw as a live act but STILL with JSS will not have any more album sales than with Augeri. Nothing against Augeri or JSS, both are great singers. Bottom line is that the majority of the record-buying public is NOT our age (they buy hip hop and c-rap). The only way they can increase album sales is to bring Perry back and even with Perry, they would not IMO sell even close to what they did in their prime (for the same reasons stated previous).

They WILL however continue to make amazing music!

I have always enjoyed reading Andrew's interviews, especially with the Journey guys. I expect we will have some sort of news , at least once the interview has been posted we can move on.... I hope. I'm excited to hear about a new album.

I am sooo looking forward to the interviews being posted. However, I will not be shocked or dumbfounded by anything. Like alot of people, I will be excited about Journey starting a new chapter in their career!!! I've been a diehard Journey fan since 78 and I respect anyone that can help the band continue.

I'm with the few that seem to think we won't get any info different than that which we already have. They haven't addressed THAT subject yet, so why address it now? What good does it do the band if they say anything really? We the fans haven't been lucky enough to be graced by anything but "the official word", so good luck getting anything else. I wonder if it was told to Andy that there were either no questions that were to be asked about that subject, or nothing was off limits? Very few people actually know for sure. We have to take someone elses word(s) that everything is kosher.

I will be excited to get this shit over with so the 'new' Journey can move forward.

Azoff - you will have no more excuses why you can't push this band forward and give them solid PR, press, and management. I want 2007 to be the year of Journey and as of about mid-November, you will be on the clock.

There is a time and place for everything. Most don't expect to get porn when you open a thread about interviews.

I didn't say I was offended. I just asked that the porn be kept in one thread rather than being thrust in your face every time you open a thread regardless of who may be looking over your shoulder.

I don't feel thats too much to ask, and, apparently, neither did the poster that I was referring to. Thanks for removing it. Much appreciated.

IAWTP... I sometimes read the board at work, and even though my bosses are fine with message boards, they aren't fine with animated breasts and crotches. I can stay out of those threads I know are "bad" at work but when they are in sigs there's no avoiding it.

I must absolutely agree. My tolderance for this has also expired. I'm trying to run a forum for ALL here, so please keep that in mind when posting.

I'm interested to read the interviews but I have surprised myself by not giving a crap any more. I'll be intrigued by what they say about the use of vocal tapes for Steve but apart from that, who really gives a toss. Deano confirmed the position with Journey months ago so now it's just interesting to see the guy's take on it. There will be no bombshells in the interviews...just confirmations.

There was and is no mention of vocal tapes used by the band. There has been no official response to this issue and it certainly doesn't happen within these interviews.

No bombshells, but a good read from all I think.
