Dean hinted to me, that the party at AR's is sort of like his finale. After that weekend, he is most likely done with MR. He is ok with everything and basically just has no desire any longer to post here.

I am so bummed I don't know what to say. Can't blame him--some of these posters seemed just plain mean-spirited and spiteful, almost; yet I bet they read every word and downloaded every boot he put out there. Probably some jealousy involved. I don't know much about these forums, but do you have to pay a lot of money to like the cable company or something to have one? Or, do you have to have tons of equipment? I guess they're lots of trouble? If he started one, I would be willing to pay a fee to participate, but I could see where that could lead to trouble, too. AAACCKKK, I hope you all can talk him into staying here but ignore the wet blankets.. Sorry for the rambling...

I know I'm missing the party of a lifetime.

I'd love to be able to be there, but I'll wait and live vicariously though the posts afterwards. Is TNC really going to be there?

Good points, but people shouldn't waste their talents. You use forms of medium to express yourself and when one stops being inspiring then you find another; music, painting, writing, even public speaking. The talent in this case needs to find a bigger audience, its safe, but come on....time to really get out there. Its hard to be on a schedule and one has to do this if they are going to be promoted, but the pay off would be huge. Not sure if I am making myself clear, still drinking coffee....but the bottom line is use the connections while you have them, find the inner discipline and never look back.

This is gonna be painful...I can see it...It will become a game of one upsmanship...Dean does a 6er...the next person does 10...then before you know it...someone is trying for a case...or trying to do a fifth...I hope the paramedics are on standby!

Booze + Narcotic antiemetic...NOT GOOD!
Sure we wouldn't puke...but...we'd be DEAD!

Its an antiemetic but its not a Narcotic -not even close its more like benedryl which is an antihistamine
Phenergan is routinely given to intoxicated patients coming into an ER or Detox facility, along with phenobarbital to help patients detox with less difficulty by decreasing the chance of having a seizure.

Ahh, you're sweet! I've managed to keep Kirk alive for almost 14 years now and that has been quite a challenge at times so I'm pretty confident that no one will die or suffer major permanent damage on my watch!!!!
But, just so it's clear to everyone, I am not checking anyone's cervix!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In my later years, I also did billing, no problem all I need is the book with the codes...we could just do a 99212 OV plus inj. I can get the codes from the office I worked in...not a problem...

Well, I'm a 'case manager' now, so maybe I can be of some use...

All of my "case managers"at work just quit so I am now managing everyone's cases so you could certainly manage these cases for us!
Are you an RN case manager or a LSW/MSW case manager or other?

Actually, I'm an LPN (yep, the 'red-headed step-child' in the nursing world!). I work in a SNF - mostly Medicare patients, but some commercial insurance. I don't suppose we'll have any Medicare beneficiaries present, but from the sounds of it, ya never know who might show up. Hell, it won't be long till some of the band themselves will be ready for Medicare!!!!

Eww, what a disgusting thought, huh?

I have decided that we will not accept medicare!! Too big of a headache! We will have to come up with some acceptable form of currency for our services though!
