Orlando show last night....

Postby Melissa » Tue Nov 07, 2006 1:59 am

All I can say is...amazing. And I'm pretty sure I have some slight hearing loss from being in the FRONT ROW, lol. Yep, ILAA was very kind to us, thanks Kaitlyn! :)

Instead of pics like they usually do, we got to do a "meet & greet" with everyone but Ross, not sure where he was, lol. And being a big JSS fan since way before all this, I was beyond excited, so much so that my friend ended up basically talking for me because I was literally speechless when we got up there, felt like a little kid instead of the thirtysomething I am, lol. Pathetic I know, & if you want to laugh at me, go ahead, I don't care, lol. We were told we could get 1 item signed, but I cheated a bit & along with Journey stuff had brought my Talisman "7" cd book anyhow, & gave it to Jeff, he said "Cool!" & signed it. I think Neal noticed that, lol. I told Deen he has a beautiful voice. They were all very kind. :)

The show was incredible! Being in the very front like that was great, we could see all their expressions, & those guys all seemed to be having an absolute BLAST up there! They did do MOL & IBAWY, both were incredible. It ended too fast for me! I did not bring my camera but my friend did, & when she gets her pics to me I'll try to post them. Jeff was just amazing.

Jeff, not sure if you'll see this (hope so, lol), but THANK YOU for an incredible show last night! It was amazing to meet you, & we'll be seeing you again in Baltimore in a few! :)

I have to agree- the show KICKED ASS!
I didn't do the ILAA- but I got to meet alot of the fans ( TVL where were you???) and catch most of the Journey guys at the hotel we stayed at. Jeez, Jeff is a tall guy alright! He had some family there it seems, so I didn't really bug him.

I got a bunch of pictures, and when I get time ( I have to work the night shift today, and just drove home) I'll post a few here for you. 4th row right in front of Neil, so I got quite a few really good ones of him. Jeff not so much, but hell- the guy don't stand still long enough

I have to agree the show kicked ass! I had a great time last night and couldnt have asked for better seats.
ILAA was great, it was awesome to meet most of the guys wish I could've chat with them longer. They rushed us
through pretty quickly.

Jeff it was pleasure meeting you at the Marriott. You are incredible and can't wait to see you guys hit the road again. :)

Goodness you got that right, lol! He does not stand still for long, lol! My friend got quite a few pics of him but just a few are actually really clear, when he stood still for maybe 2 seconds, lol. I'd love to see your pics too. Did you like the Orlando Magic jersey? lol

We met some people in our group who saw Jeff too at the Marriott one of them said, she saw him in the bar area, & also playing catch with someone outside too she said. She talked briefly with him & of course said he was the nicest guy. She said that was all around 1 pm or so. We went to the Marriott too before the show to eat & drink...and drink, lol. I wish I had been able to go there sooner but my hubby's a cop & works nights & had gotten home at 730 in the morning & had to sleep a bit before I could leave, we have 2 little ones. I'm at work right now & it sucks, lol. Didn't get home until about 1 a.m. because we stayed & waited by the bus area & met Rick A., Phil, & Viv from DL, got pics & autographs with them.

Ok, tell me who you were! lol--my friend mentioned that you were going to be in our ILAA group, she saw you on DL's forum, lol. We met Trish from there & her seats were right next to ours.

You guys are SO LUCKY! I did the ILAA thingy too and we got the JACK! The guys weren't able to get to us in time. Jeff of course apologized, but it wasnt necessary since he had no control over the situation. Glad to hear you guys got to meet them! Maybe someday!!!!!!!

Yes, it was great but very rushed like mentioned. I probably would have been able to have enough composure to actually talk to Jeff had I had a chance to calm down a bit first, lol. I'm such an idiot, lol.

We were in the bar as well! Over in the back under the big viewing screen. And yes, he was outside with someone in his family ( a young man) tossing a ball around in the drive! I couldn't believe that. I mean- yes, he's a regular guy and all that- but out in front of the hotel, which is right across the street from the venue he's playing at that night? Not the "typical" rock-star behavior. Having said that, I think it was great that he was just so humble and down-to-earth!
And I'll get my pics up here tomorrow, or at least a link to them

Yep, we were in the same bar, from about 4-530, then we walked over to the arena. Ugh, I'm so bummed I wasn't there earlier. :(

I think you were right behind us in the ILAA line before we went in.

I was with my friend Lynn, she has long black hair, I have long red-brown hair. I have pics of us with some of the Leps (Rick A., Phil, Viv, & even Malvin! lol) taken after the show outside, if I had a clue how to post them here I would, lol. Trish (leppluvr I think?) took pics there too, & had someone take pics of her & her friend & Lynn & I in the front row, lol.

You lucky gal, got a pic with JSS! I'm jealous! lol

Oh yeah.. I do remember you guys! LOL! Well I'm equally jealous you got pictures with Phil, he's another one of my fav guitarists. I couldnt have the best of both worlds I emailed ILAA and requested to be on Neal's side.

Go register on www.photobucket.com you can upload your pictures there then post the link for people to view them. If you need any help, let me know. Between the both of us I'm sure we can figure it out. 8)
