Just curious...
We all know how much Jeff loves to come in here and, rumor has it,
Neal and the others sometimes like to read along
with him as well.
When any of you have met the band in the past 3-4 months,
have you introduced yourself with your Real Name
or your MR.Com Screen-Name???

For me, I think of just about everyone as thier screen-names...
If I met folks face-to-face, NIG would be NIG to me,
Granny would be Granny, Monker would be Monker
and so on...

I mean, believe it or not, these guys have great memories...
When I got to meet up with them in Va Beach in July,
Jeff introduced me and my family to Deen and Neal and
Neal remembered me from the SS show the year prior
when Jeff pulled me up onstage...
That was a really cool feeling...

From reading/posting here so much, that's how we tend to relate to eachother
and I was just wondering if that has carried over to others as well,
again, especially when meeting the guys...

Any thoughts from those with a story???

I was afraid Somehow the band knew I was involved with Dean and it was not from Jeff, he assured me. Neal said Deen told him . Awww what tangled webs we weave. Needless to say, each one of them treated me just as they always have- very sweet.

Last year Journey played on my Bday in Texas. At the after show Jon walked in the room calling out my name, looking for me; that was very cool .

if i ever came accross the band , i would introduce myself to JSS as INTERNET LARRY...it would be my only shot!!! then i would drop every name i could ,, Andrew, Lula, Jeremey, etc etc.. and lie and tell him i was BEST friends with them,,

i have met neal once,, i gave him a tape of DANNY SPANOS - HOT CHERIE , on the Hardline tour,, he recorded the song with out ever hearing the original,, Neal put the tape in the player on the bus ....just looked at me and said ,, THAT SUCKS!! and the entire band laughed for 10 min.,, i was still the hero of the day!!! HA.. he let me on the bus and i hung out with he and the band for an hour or so, along with Scott Gorham!! Deen was cool even way back!! i remember Neal telling me that KISS sucked (my t-shirt) , Deen then said he loved them! that was in '91, neal was 38 .... im trying to write a book about that 1 hour................................

I had that song on tape back in the early 80s and when I got the Hardline cd I couldn't believe that they re-made it!

I introduced myself to Jeff with my real name, but we had been PMing each other prior to that and he needed to know my full name in order for me to pick up the tix and meet-n-greet passes. We had a good laugh because I didn't really believe it was him at the time, but he proved it to me in a big way. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have been able to go to the show but I got to go AND bring my daughter with me. We both had a blast!

i remember Neal telling me that KISS sucked (my t-shirt)

Castronovo loves Kiss and always has a Peter Criss shirt with him.

Jeff knew me by my real name, since he was so nice to leave my daughter and I tickets and meet and greet passes at the box office. The meet and greet was a quick one, since they went between ILAA and their families, who happened to be backstage that night before they went on.

I did get Neal's autograph, saw Ross run by, Jon went into another direction, Deen was with his family, so I didn't see him, and JSS signed two of my "Eyes" boots I had. Neal and Jeff also posed for pix with us.

Even tho it was rushed, I felt very comfortable meeting JSS. I will say this, I wasn't a puddle on the floor. I kept myself well composed.

The Jersey girls, 2 of them at least, are friends of mine. Two women that did not listen to a certain someone that said not to speak to me... so high school .
