PS. Did you ever look into the MAnsfield show? I would be fascinated to hear your detailed and technical analysis of this show once again. It gets more fascinating each time you tell it, really. Most things become boring after a hundred times, but in your case redundancy and repition becomes so engrossing, really! Stupid dick ass.

I love the way these idiot trolls judge other people here on the forum. TNC has written great stuff, no question. But six months later he still writes the same great stuff about tape gate which is kind of played out at this point. I would have liked his insights into the topic which he turned it to a boring tape gate revisited thread.

PS. Don't complain about people being judgmental while in the process of being judgmental. It makes you look like a jack ass.

Perryheads used to derail every single one of my threads.
Even if it wasn't in the slightest bit related to SP they would usurp it and make it so.

But, TapeGate isn't going to go away.
When the story broke, I knew it was going to be debated forever much in the way fans keep debating over the legitimacy of Perry's hip problems.
It's a permanent part of Journey lore now.

Yeah, I think I remember hearing something like this somewhere. Someone also mentioned that they may have found this other Ya-Hoo named John or Jeff or Jake or something like that. Apparently he can kind of sing too. He doesn't look much like Steve Perry though and he can't Wiggle like Augeri so I'm not so sure if anyone will go to any more shows or not.

I think tape gate is irrelevant now. It seems clear to me JSS is in. What IS interesting to me, is how could the band be so clueless about how to handle the situation. There should have been at least a few messages by now stating that Augeri sends his thanks and love to the fans for their support (even if its BS) and some kind of update about seeing this or that specialist (even if thats BS too) and then he could (surprise) step down as a good guy, wishing success to JSS and encouraging the fans to "Journey on" or whatever.

They didn't, and there is no good excuse for such poor management and apparent lack of class. Then Journey, in a sudden move in the right direction, invites Andrew out to scoop the big story, and together with that and JSS delivering the goods, Journey appears ready to recover from its tail spin.

Now, Andrew's story is being put off, and why? How much more bad publicty does the band need? How much sleezier do they want to look? Keep in my this is not some talentless act like Motley Crue where looking like a bunch of slimy loosers helps sell concerts and CDs, its Journey!

And this Journey, asside from sounding really good right now, looks like a big pile of shit.
