For the Ladies...

Postby TRAGChick » Tue Nov 14, 2006 11:16 am

When I saw the Journey BTM, all of a sudden, a rush of memory, nostalgia, good music, and everything else came RIGHT BACK TO THE SURFACE.

It's like I had a "Oh my God - YEAH! - THAT'S what's been missing!" gut reaction. Does that make any sense to you?

It's going on 6 years since that show...and with every passing year, the whole thing gets stronger and stronger...I actually feel "upbeat and hopeful" about Steve possibly doing something again...

(Please tell me you understand what I'm trying to say here...heehee  )

I am eagerly awaiting any kind of news from him, but what I most want to hear is that exquisite voice!!!! I'm still pretty new at this stuff, but I'm feeling really positive that we'll hear something next year. BTW, where can I get a copy of the BTM???

I just don't know if there will be new music or not. I guess one can only hope for it.

I understand completely what you are saying...the question and answer will be something really positive. I was looking at the FTLOSM pics. today inside the reissue and wondering what was up with that theme? maybe he used some strange medicine for his ailments or what? He looked really young and healthy on that tour. The song "I Am" has some lyrics in there about..."so many paths to choose" and Steve took a really different path than his counterparts...question is does he like his choices now?

If my memory serves me correctly ~ the "Strange Medicine" was the Love / Hate relationship he had with Music....

It can almost kill you, but it can also save you.

Oh..good to know. He is still a class act, no doubt about that. Even when people trash him publically he never stoops to that level. It will be great to hear him on Uncle Joe!!! :D

I understand you perfectyly Nora. The BTM yanks at my heart too. I think we've had enough hints at the possibility of something new from Steve that we're justified in hoping. Has anybody heard or read a transcript of the Uncle Joe interview? Maybe we'll know more after the Q&A on Fanasylum.

I absolultley love your avatar Tree. That's a beautiful pic.

That BTM on YouTube is only the hour version. There is another out there called the "Director's Cut", and from my knowledge, VH1 has only shown that version once. :D

CRL,

You're right. And I have it on VHS

Its much better than the first one. Ross tells his deal and Herbie shares a bit more.
