Question about Deen singing....

Postby Melissa » Wed Nov 15, 2006 8:05 am

I was reading an interview with Deen that Andrew did last year I think, it mentioned that Deen sang some songs on Generations, but also mentioned the US version didn't have 1 of these songs? So what does the US version have? Sorry for being under a rock about this, I just didn't follow them much with SA.

I know I've seen Generations get slammed here, but I love Deen's voice & I'll buy it for that if he's on it.

Thanks!
:)

The third song of Generations called "A Better Life". Great song I thought. :)

Deen sang "A Better Life" and "Never Too Late" on Generations. "Never Too Late" was not on the issues of the cd given out at the shows last year (The cd ended at "Beyond The Clouds") but when they released it to the stores it contained "Never Too Late". :-)

He can also be heard briefly echoing Steve's voice during a quick moment on "Beyond the Clouds."

Better Life was actually one of the better songs on the CD. I haven't read many (if any) bad reviews of that song.

Here's one for yah'.
It's a great tune, but it peaks and ultimately goes nowhere.
Sorta meandering.

Thanks, I knew I could count on you, TNC.

It's still better than 95% of the rest of the CD.

Thanks! I may just finally pick up Generations after all, esp. if I can find it with Never Too Late on it.

It's Never Too Late was probably the most classic Journey sounding song on Generations. By far my favorite song from this lineup.
