Postby zino » Thu Nov 16, 2006 11:50 am

I have been doing my usually lurking and very occsional posting on the other site and every time I go there another Steve A thread opens. I have my opinion about Steve A but that not what is going too make me lose my lunch. It these lets make some noise, send our prayers, support the wiggle. I mean we get it some people love this guy and will continue too show support. BUT this has been going on for 5 months now. Im sure the guys in the band have read most of the some of the post. They get you guys like SA. All this support thrreads are a bit over the top now there are probably 5-8 threads right now all about the same thing. In one of them which I must admit I actually started to read the post. Then i got really pissed wwhen they strted too bash JSS. This guy saved the tour and brought a new found energy too the band. Anyone you can not see or hear that must have been blind and deaf when they saw a live show. If fans are true fans they will accept what is before them and enjoy the MUSIC AND THE GREAT SONGS this band has given us for the last 30 years. I am not going too make predictions on what will happen once "The Offical word" comes down. but I consider my self smart enough like most of you folks the writing is on the wall and the proof is in the live shows ( I have seen 2 this tour). Just had too vent after reading a few of those post over there.

It is ok to vent, Zino. I have been reading and posting over there occasionally. It does get a bit annoying to see the same basic threads appear over and over again. Once this Official Press release gets released, then those threads will disappear from the main forum.

If only it were true that it has only been going on for 5 months. The wiggle wack jobs have been posting that moronic, mindless crap on BT forever! It's the same 10 over 40, in heat women who drool over a dude with red leather pants and his wife's white blouse!!!! These women need to get out of the house a bit more often, find a boyfriend, or get a "pool boy"! I refer to that place as Jackass Central for a reason! We can only hope that the "official" website of Journey, re-claims a modicum of dignity, someday in our lifetime!

I don't know. I bet if this were 1997 and BT was open, fans would post endless threads about SP getting well soon... even if Remember Me was already out. Just don't go there, you should know what to expect by now.

You know, you guys complaining could always 'jump in' some of those threads and have a little fun :)

I've been having fun over there today with them.
It's all been pretty lite humor but it is amazing that
a lot of the Big Augeri fans are actually lightening up a bit

Well for what it's worth...I'm a huge Perry fan, and always will be. The fact that so many of the yahoos on BT have so little respect for Perry tells me all I need to know. That website wouldn't even exist if there was never a Perry, because nobody ever would have heard of Journey! That said, I can tell you that I wouldn't have been posting "let's get some positive vibes for Perry", "Let's hear it for the Perry wiggle", and "Please come back Stevie" threads! Not my style and it has nothing at all to do with the music I listen to. Anyone with an ounce of common sense should have figured out a lot longer ago that what was going on with Journey was much more than a "chronic throat infection" with Augeri!

Baltimore was a party that was organized by members of this board and it happend less than a week ago. I believe many people travel great distances too attend this party/concert. While I did not attend I have viewed all the threads. It could be a safe bet that in 2-3 months no new threads of this topic will be surfacing time after time. The people taht posted about baltimore posted there pics/stories or comments and have moved on. The threads on SA are active threads and are continually at the top of the board with page after page of the same stuff. The only threads here like that are the NOW PLAYING and thge BOOZE, SEX thread.

WHOA, Hold Up, John...

That would be the 'Perry Mic-Cord Shuffle' and
THAT move/dance was cool as fuck in the gayest sense of the word! :)
Come on, after 10 years, you're telling me you didn't get goose bumps
when you saw Perry do that dance during the run leading into the guitar solo
in the WYLAW video???

I'm dead serious, that 'Mic-Cord Shuffle' was as much a part of the Superman persona
as those tails. 8)

Hey now, hold up a minute folks!

You know, Maria is an alright gal. I know there is some 'history' between
her and some regulars here but really...
All she is doing right now is showing some support for BT and
defending 'her favorite site'...
We all do the same thing for Drew and MR.com when we are over
there...
And unlike most of the foks at BT right now,
she KNOWS change is a'coming and isn't an
"Official Statement" Robot.

Actually I was under the impression, from what I've read there, that they all 'know' it. Maybe not the newbs who are making the new threads, but most of the older posters seem to know.
