It appears that some people know you may be away for a while and choose that day to stir up shit, hoping to incite WWIII with the hope that you'll come in and wipe out certain members of this forum. Glad you're back. :)

That's true. Damn time zones.

Funny thing is...I haven't seen this many locked/deleted topics since TG.
Unfortunately..the "wiggle" thread where I went off on them got deleted. I wanted to read it again. haha

I think some of the trolls are funny because it's so obvious that they're trolls. It's not hard to separate them from the regular posters and it's extremely easy not to take the trolls seriously, at least for me, though it's interesting how some here get really heated over their presence.

I agree with you Fred. I don't know why it's taken so seriously. That back and forth yesterday was hilarious.

Why not just close this thing on Sat & Sun?
Force everyone outta the house on weekends.
Make them all post on school nights.

I'm sure it's toughest for you, Andrew as moderator and owner. For me, it's nothing. Most of us figure you'll come in and clean things up when you get here, so no worries. :)

I mentioned that in another thread. If Andrew closed this particular forum on weekends, then at least when he got back to it, he wouldn't have all that cleanup to deal with. :) I don't post that often on weekends anyway. Seems for the most part, the threads that were posted were throw aways.

Ya know, you really might consider this... Whenever Journey gives you the green light on your announcements & interviews, close the forum down for a month. All you're going to hear is incessant whining, 'I told you so' taunting, and vulgar juvenile insults tossed back & forth any way. There won't be much constructive going on at all from the fans. So do yourself a favor, and save a few headaches. Just lock it down for awhile. When the fog and smoke clear (what little substantive there'll actually be), then you casually open it back up (without announcement). The muck will slowly ooze back in - that's unavoidable - but hopefully most will have found something else to do over the holidays.

Just curious about the business side of MR.com, do you count all the forum logons, reads, & posts as overall website hits? Does all this go toward your hits counter when showing numbers for selling ads and doing site promo? Thanks...

Thanks Daddy, your the best.
Please don't lock us out on the weekends.
I would then be forced to cook and clean more.
I don't need to do anymore of that.

Sheesh. Why don't u ask the guy how much he makes, how much his mortgage payment is, etc. That's a bit personal for him to answer on a forum, don't u think?
