I have that concert, it's great. Thanks for the link Tree. Perry almost backs up off the stage around the 2:50 mark.

Just one more reason to love the cowbell.

Funny how all these are surfacing. I wonder who's doing it? Great stuff, no doubt! Don't get me wrong!! I'm enjoying them all! But still, I have to wonder where they're all coming from? Is Journey letting these get out? Perry? I always thought Journey was against boots being posted on the internet? How is it YouTube is not being presented with legal action by Journey by way of supporting illegal boots through their network/server? Just some questions I have about all these YouTube vids. Are people saving these boots to their hard drive committing an illegal act?
Again though, I'm enjoying them!

I doubt it is anything other then a Journey fan posting them. I have had most of this stuff for oever ten years.

I have had the pleasure of being able to enjoy that concert over & over again myself thanks to a wonderful charitable friend I met on MR who might just live in Canada & to whom I am very grateful

Maybe instead of complaining & whining all the time, u could share some of what u have. That would be productive.

It's on VHS and I really don't feel like taking the time to dub it. In fact, I would even say, I feel my time is better spent bitching and moaning and whining and complaining then dubbing this stuff for the people who read all of my bitching and moaning and whining and complaing...who also do so much bitching and moaning and whining and complaining about me.
I gave most of my REALLY rare VHS stuff away LONG ago to other fans anyway.
Most of this stuff is out there in the public domain...all you have to do is look for it and ask for it and I'm sure you will find somebody to dub it over for you.

We have a really great friend in common, perhaps.
Damn we need the Log boy & an applause icon. He's never here when we need him.

Awwww you guys.

Those talented boys were born to perform and more than just my eyes should be viewing this old stuff. Like Sall, I don't mind sharing the Per!

With all of the stuff showing up on Youtube and other sites, it seems as though Sony could release a Boxed set of Journey video material.
Just imagine a high quality video history of the band digitally restored with great quality sound. Could there be a price too high for this? I think not.
While it is great being able to access these videos online, it is a shame that many of them are grainy with distorted audio. Surely someone at Sony or Columbia or wherever must realize, especially with the great reviews and renewed excitement anout the band generated by this tour, that they are sitting on a potential goldmine. (Sorry for the run-on sentence)
I have all of the official video releases, with the exception of Frontiers and Beyond, but there is still so much missing. It is becoming more and more obvious that the material is out there. It simply needs to be cleaned up, compiled, and released. Possibly another project for Mr. Perry?
The way things go with the band on video releases, I doubt something of this magnitude would ever happen. But we can always dream.

Yes. I wish all this stuff was cleaned up & released. I have a lousy old computer & have to hold a key down in order to watch anything on youtube or else I get stop motion. Plus, I have bad eyesight & I need things bigger now...we had to get a big screen t.v. recently.
I did break down & buy this Soundstage video before I knew people were sharing, but it is a bad copy. I need to talk to ya, Deb!
