Well the tour is over and still no announcement from the Journey camp are they waiting for Christmas or what? Hell at the rate they are going Jeff will be old and grey before they say yep he really is the new lead singer. I have to say my patience is beyond it's end. I agree. I am starting to believe there may be legal problems noone is aware of. If that is the case, no telling when it will end. Perhaps Augeri isn't just 'going away' like most thought he would. All stories have been not much action for the next several months by the band. Boards are about to get awful boring I'm afraid.

Since Augeri injured his voice on tour, why don't they file a workman's comp and just end it now.

The longer it goes on, the more money they have to give to the lawyers anyway.

Well, I don't know what's going on in the negotiations but from the various hints beng dropped it does indeed seem that Augeri isn't so humble and gracious after all. Not a surprise to those of us who thought he was a phoney all along...but there you go.

I can't imagine how irritating it must be for the band if Augeri is being ruthless and demanding about his share. Surely 95% of the money Augeri and Journey are haggling over comes from touring material Augeri had NOTHING to do with?

Why they didn't just give ths guy a salary and a share of the proceeds (if there were any) from the three albums he did contribute to is beyond me....

Still...this is all based on rumour and speculation...and a long-standing emnity toward Augeri...so maybe all this is unfair.

Let's just cut the speculation and await official word, which cannot be too far away.

I agree totally - i think he was good at fooling naive girls on BT tho. He was the worst frontman i ever saw too - not a bad singer tho - but nowhere near Mr. Perry

It's quite apparent the Band and "Grandpa" have given you, their paid spokesman, the green light to take on the "cause". Real class act these Journey folks! I am not, nor never have been, a fan of S.A. But this scapegoat bit is a low down dirty blame on one individual, when EVERYONE in the Journey organization had full knowledge of the fraud. Now they want to obliterate the guy, so they can move forward with their new and improved frontman, with you leading the slander charge.

I hope Augeri holds out for $20 million, since they and you are hell bent on annihilating any career he may have left.
