I have lurked here for awhile and this site caters to the FAN of journey's music. I asked jeff a question about his singing influences in the back Talk forum and I got a nice reply from him. but you are right the place needs to become vibrant again. I started coming here more and more Because it is more entertaining over here some of the posts makes me laugh and say What the Fuck. Everything here is spontaneous not controlled as it is over there. It seems the fans care more about the looks of the members and forgets about the music aspect of the band. Plus Journey needs to get with the time and technololgy if they want to have more impact on the sorry state of today's music scene. There has been posts lately as the time gets nearer of support for JSS. I am HOPING he OFFICALLY takes over as the lead singer. Should i test the forum out and create a SOTO WIGGLE WHO'S WITH ME thread over there to see what happens? People need to realize it is JOURNEY we are talking about John with your post I agree with it ion some parts and if we disagree oh well. I saw your posts when you were in BT and you hated all these WIGGLE posts for good reason because they detracted from the site and they did not belong there. Does anyone think BT will change I dont think so there is nothing we can do and WHEN the singer change is announced I am going to runaway from the site for a bit until things calm down. I'm listenin to Believe In Me, and it kicks ass. Imagine the hooks Journey can put into it and Cains piano work and you got a classic Journey song we can all enjoy. Hopefully it's signs to come from a new begining.

Nah, I just hit a big busy stretch with school and all of that stuff now that I'm off for TG break, I have another chance to post and have any access to the internet. Hard to believe there isn't anything happening as far as announcing something. I thought for sure by now and by the time I wasn't here to check, they would have a permanant announcment of such. As for the Augeri thing, let's cut it out, everyone knew he was done for months now lmao. Ya'll are just too fun.

Oh, I rarely go there so I don't know if you can go for the jugglar or not, obviously you stated you can so...ohwell. I always got the impression of say the wrong thing and you're done, just to keep a clean forum open.

Is anything taken seriously on here by anyone ever? A forum is all about opinion not fact so all you can do is see if it matches your point of view and if it does you take it seriously if you don't you flame em.

Actually I was there, at least for some of it. Yes it was distasteful and over the top, but no more so than other stuff that goes on here. Or is it just the subject matter that determines whether or not it is acceptable? As Jeff himself knows I am a huge JSS fan, but of all people he is well able to defend himself against petty insults.
