New Apple Commercial & AR

Was just watching the Pats game (GOD they sucked today. How can the Lions almost beat them!) and happened upon the new Apple Computer commercial. One guy was playing the part of a Windows user and the other guy was AR playing the part of the Mac user. Or at least I thought it looked like AR. My vision could have been clouded by the booze I was consuming to keep myself calm watching this wreck of a game though! :D

Yeah...I love "sucking" all the way to 9-3! The Colts lost to the Titans today and actually almost lost to them the first time they played them this season (The Colts won 14-13). This is the NFL...there are no automatic wins! Don't you remember the first year the Pats won the Super Bowl??? There weren't 10 people in the country (including in the Boston area) who thought the Pats had any shot at beating the mighty Rams "Greatest Show on Turf"! As Berman always says on ESPN, "That's why they play the games"!

Sure looked like you I thought! But what do I know. I have 20-10,000 vision and a beer buzz. Maybe it was Jackson Browne's son!

Doesn't matter you fools. San Diego is the best team in the AFC.

I definitely agree with that statement. San Diego is the best team in the NFL, period! That said Dean...you should know better than to think the most talented team always wins. In fact, more times than not, it doesn't happen that way. I can tell you that I've been an NFL junkie (have had the NFL Sunday Ticket for over 10 years) my entire life, and it's a VERY unpredictable league. I did not think any of the three Patriots teams who won the Super Bowl were the most talented team in the league. In fact, I would say there were at least 5 teams each year they won who had more talent, and that's coming from a Patriots fan! My Super Bowl prediction this season is Chicago beats the Colts (Defense ALWAYS wins)!

There are exceptions to every rule, my friend. That said, neither Carolina nor New England had a defense on the same level of this year's Bears. They are ball hawks and simply don't give up many points (except to Miami, of course)! The only caveat with Chicago is their offense. Grossman SUCKS ASS and may not be good enough to get them where their D can win the game for them!

I believe THIS is the commercial series you were thinking of:
http://www.apple.com/getamac/ads/

FYI ~ the actor's name is Justin Long, a fellow CT resident. 8)

Yes, there are exceptions. And yes, Grossman does SUCK ASS. They would be really scary with a more competent QB like Bledslow or J.P. Loserman! j/k HA HA!

YEAH! That's the series. Although the one I saw today, the guy on the right had longer hair and mostly profile shots. Thought is was AR!

Ours too. We say we're gonna move back there when the kids are grown. Dakota would like to play football for UCSD, that would be awesome!!!

Don't want to raise kids there. When Derek was in Kindergarten & 1st grade, they sent notes home in 3 different languages. Yikes!!! That's tough for a small town girl like me.

I have to agree with you John about good old Rex Grossman! The Bears keep winning IN SPITE of him!! The Bears will not win the superbowl if their offense keeps turning the ball over 6 times a game. Their defense and and special teams have saved their asses too many times now! I was driving my daughter to a birthday party yesterday and heard Devin Hestor (spelling?) run back another punt for a TD. That was in the series right after Rexie threw his second interception of the quarter. All I could think of was that Rex owes Hestor one hell of a Christmas present for repeatedly saving his ass!!!

Tomlinson deserves a Super Bowl. I will root for them if the Ravens get knocked out of the playoffs.
