Sorry, I meant ever again.
By the way, how the fuck do you see Arrival as Ruling? Arrival was bland as Vanilla ice cream.
Fucker, you flying out to Frisco? Do it, you have bank. Hit up Jestor, that fucker has airline tickets.

Bro, Lori is having surgery Thursday that week or I would.
Still love Signs of Life, To Be Alive Again, Higher Place a lot. There is some crap on the disc, but when I came up with that name, I was just happy to have Journey back. Cut it to AR because of how it all ended, but that doesn't change the fact that I liked the Arrival album. I play that much more than TBF.

Tubes tied? Tummy tuck? Beast implants? What?
She doesn't need the implants. LOL. I'll tell you privately what it is.

I gotta go with AR on this one.
I think Arrival is a pretty solid album.
That said, I actually listened to TBF this morning and
found myself digging stuff I never really did before...
Maybe it will finally grow on me.
Perry's TBF vocals kill the Arrival vocals
but, songwise, I like Arrival better...

Arrival blows donkey ass compared to TBF. TBF is a mature album.....Arrival is so fluffy it is sickening.

Hey, you never know...
I said it might grow on me.
You are right that it is a mayure album...
But as far as the song structure and melodies go,
there is a lot more excitement on Arrival for me than TBF.
Hell, just the first 30-40 seconds of HP is more exciting
than pretty much the entire TBF album...
Eat shit?
Blow me, Weanio

Jeff has no right to sing Faith In the Heartland. Why would people hear want to here Jeff sing an Augieri song anyway. Most people here hate SA "s guts. Get real

I like both Arrival and TBF, TBF because it is a more mature album and has some damn good songs and I love the ending "It's Just The Rain", "Trial By Fire" ending it's just so peaceful to me. Arrival has some solid songs but a lot of fluff. I do admit that it was the 2nd Journey cd I bought after I saw them live in 02 when they performed Higher Place and I was blown away by it so it holds a place in my heart for getting me hooked onto Journey

Incorrect in every way.
I think Steve's songs have a place in the Journey legacy and should be sung...Arrival was a monster record. As for people hating Steve - no, I think that is badly exaggerated. People have their opinions on the last 12 months of happenings, but I for one do not support that concept.

Heard Jeff sing FITH on July 8th in Va Beach (his second show) and I thought he sounded pretty fucking amazing...
There's actually a few Augeri-era tunes that I think Jeff would sound great on...
As long as we NEVER hear Butterfly again

Thats is not true Deano,Steve was singing for Journey when I saw him. I heard al the cracks and creaks in his voice, and it was real. He gave it all he could do. If you or others heard otherwise, that is what YOu heard. iiam just saying what i heard was for real, good and bad.

I bet you saw them in the States after TG broke. Of course Augeri had to go live after that.

A lot of us thought Augeri had no right to sing Perry's songs. It doesn't mean we
hated Augeri's guts, we just didn't like having him sing the songs. Personally I'd much rather hear Jeff sing
any song.

I thought I read somewhere, Neal interview, that FITH, was orginally a tune for Soul SirkUS. Anyone recall this interview?

I would agree with that , especially the lead in where he sings/yells. Saw JSS in his 3rd show with Journey and thought it was the best the song had sounded.

Why? Whatever bad blood there may be with the Augeri infects their like of playing the song?
Why'd they ever play it w/ Jeff in the first place, then?

I know nothing, but I'm guessing it might be a case of it wasn't but it is now. They might have been on basically okay terms whetever went on, but maybe there's been more falling out/whatever since then and now they're on really bad terms.
Only the band could say

So they don't separate bad feelings from the song itself?
That would seem kinda petty
if all the players enjoyed playing the parts they played when Augeri was singing it, they don't enjoy playing the parts anymore?
If this were they way it worked than certainly there would be at least SOME Perry songs they would shun.

I'm just gonna wait and see whether they play any Augeri-era tunes on 3rd March.
That's right. My curiousity got the better of me.
