I said Augeri had yet to refine his stage presence. That's not a knock. That's an observation from a fan who saw him blossom and finally own a stage in 2002 (and then falter every tour then on).
I also said the Augeri dvd had been sweetened and falsely represents Steve Augeri's vocal capabilities.
Again, not a knock. Just an observation from a fan that has heard alot.
Seems to me their post prod. slight of hand worked and they have you baited hook line and sinker.
Keep perpetuating the Augeri myth.
A few select fans and the majority of music biz knows MUCH better.
You fail to comprehend that Perry's voice wouldn't have gone the distance also by that time.
Perry voluntarily hasn't toured with the band since 1986.
Who gives two shits about him?
What would you rather have had? No fucking Journey at all after TBF? Exactly, I thought not.
How about a band that lives up to its legacy?
Augeri was the wrong choice.
Get Neal liquered up and I think even he will own up to that.
