Just added yesterday!

Can't really understand what he's saying in the beginning; also, it looked like the guy had to "hide" the camera a few times...

...but when the song starts, you'll know....

THANK YOU, "Lakeman62324"!!!

Enjoy.....wow....

Did you notice he said " I've been away for 7 years....I promise to never do that again".......

Well you broke your promise Steve!

Guess after going back with Journey and that whole thing........ drove him away again. Got some new stuff to "work on". Hasn't worked it out again. :(

Nora , thanks so much....He sounds awesome....I thought that "said", "wrote", "insinuated", "rumored" or whatever that in '86 he quit b/c he lost his voice....sure doesn't sound like it to me....I hope whatever "issues" or "problems" he has that he gets them worked out in my life-time....pretty soon I will be too old to go to concerts...
Steve, if u read this or anyone passes this along to you....hurry up before its too late....You have thousands and thousands of fans that want and need to hear from you....preferably some new music in 2007! This is a request from a fan not an order or demand....

I know I just saw those today for the first time! Awesome! I love how he can make the same song sound so different each time & it sounds amazing. God, how could I have missed seeing him in concert all these years?? Regrets. I just heard the story of the white corvette & LTS on a FTLOSM boot today...that was great. :)

You can tell from those vids that SP had lost a bit off the top end of his voice ; but FFS he was late 40s at the time and that would be expected anyway.
He still managed to hit the notes pretty damn high during Faithfully and Any Way You Want It.

It's also shown on one of the vids that the footage was shot 30th Nov 94'.
Now correct me if I'm wrong, but surely SP couldn't have done many more gigs after that before going into the studio with Journey to make Trial by Fire??
And if so; the strain on his voice between those vids and Steve packing it in couldn't really have been that high.

Baring in mind those vids are 12 years old; I think personally it's more a mental than vocal thing that's stopping SP from going and doing a new album. Making efforts to re-connect with fans and getting vocal coaching would appear to say that he is starting to get more confidence in his own abilities again. If he can get his head round it; it wouldn't surprise me if we saw a new SP solo album in the next few years.

If you think that is good, you should see the boot from NYC. About midway through the show his voice breaks through. When he sings Tuesday Heartache and I'll Be Alright Without You, you swear to God that he's back to ROR days without skipping a beat. The first part of the concert is sketchy, which is why I think he's hesitant to come back. He has said that his voice at any given moment can be his friend or his enemy.

The boy can still sing, but it's all about consistency and whether it can still handle the rigors of continous use.
