I think it was at least a couple years ago when there was a boot of Enrique floating around from a "credible source" which revealed a rather HORRIBLY out of tune and croaking Enrique. The claim was that the boot was genuine and recorded without Enrique's knowledge - in order to reveal what a rip he was.

Enrique swore it was a bunch of crap but NOBODY believed him. He then appeared on the Howard Stern show to try and redeem his credibility. He marched in, sat down with a guitar and hammered one out. End of story.

In all of the Tapegate crap I don't recall any comparisons between what happened with Enrique and JOURNEY.
