I wondered that too. The bigger they get, the more loons come out and the more they need to be cautiously accessible. I understand if he doesn't, but its great that we will still be seeing him around. Its also SO moving to read Deen's interview. I had no idea that guy had that big of a heart. I can't find anything bad about that guy. He is a kick ass drummer, is proud of his little ones and shows them off in concert, and will put any negative comment to the test. I LOVE that he showed that fan at the show that his voice is HIS and not generated. I'm glad he stood up for himself, but I wish he would come read the posts. Not one has been negative about him! That band is one of a kind, every member that has ever been part of it is unique in their own right. Glad it all came down the way it did. Augeri will show his face again. He has alot of pride not to heal and sing again for his fans. Kudos to him, Jeff, and Deen.

Thats the lamest thing I've ever heard. I'm so tired of negativity from those stuck in the Perry and Augeri era. MOVE ON. I love Perry, but I had to move on and enjoy life as it is now. Its acutally pretty nice with JSS at the helm.

There's gonna be some raw emotions from the various fans for a while...they need to be able to vent their feelings & concerns and some will continue to follow the band, some won't & new ones will come on board, everyone will have their fave band member for life...it's the history of Journey. Neal will be blamed, SA will be blamed, Jeff will be blamed lol... etc, etc. We will never know the "exact" inside story so it is really not fair for the fans to be slamming anyone, unfortunately some people always have to find a target.
