I'm not a big SirkUS fan either, but JSS with Journey works. Have you seen them?

You have it backwards. The band has LIFE now.

I really liked SS...whats the deal...It wasn't Journey, but it wasn't supposed to be...

SS was some of the, if not the best Melodic hard rock to come out in a long time...

I guess I should have a OT on the topic title.

I wasn't referring to Journey whatsoever. I'm so happy for JSS, and the way it all turned out.
I just miss the kick ass that WAS Soul Sirkus. Financially it's doubtful it'll ever happen again, but hey,
at least I got to see a live show.

Carry on.

Ahhhh. I TOTALLY misunderstood you, dude. Seemed like you were referring to Azoff killing Journey to me, but hey, I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Yeah, I would actually like to have seen Soul SirkUS make it big just as equally as I am enjoying JSS being with Journey.

Fear not as Journey will probably sound just like SS when they release a new cd, especially if Neal has his way.

Anything's possible with three of the original Soul SirkUs members in Journey now.... A sequel to World Play may now be a little less unlikely than before....

Loved the band. As was mentioned above, some of the best melodic hard rock to come down the pike in a very long time. Unfortunately never got the chance to see them live.

Now if they could just somehow release that supposedly completed DVD ...... 8)

Guess you didn't read Drew's interviews.

Yep.
Common misnomer used to dismiss the new lineup. fact is and JSS has said as much on these same pages, he cut his teeth studying journey (among others not to speak for Jeff) due to SP's style.
I also think the Journey boots with Jdouble singing sound totally different than the World Play music.

I'm not sure what Azoff and his management team actually do for Journey. As far as promotion, I haven't seen very much effort at all. In my opinion, Mr. Azoff is under more pressure than the band to finally deliver in '07-'08. Lack of effort cannot be blamed on Augeri's lip synching either. Groups and solo artists are promoted all around us that lip synch. Irving, you're actually going to have to promote this band soon and go the extra mile for them. Journey deserves. at least. that effort.

I agree with you completely. Funny, I just posted a very similar comment in the "Did the Band Like Augeri" thread. It is definately time for Azoff and Co. to put up or shut up and be kicked to the curb.

If killing Soul Sirkus helped in getting Jeff into Journey, then it was a great move in my opinion.

However, we all have belly buttons... or something like that :?
