This might have been posted before, but I found these youtube vids of Deen when he was on tour with Ozzy. They were supporting the Ozzmosis album, which I suggest you pick up if you don't have it. The whole band is great on it, including Deen.

I think he shoulda kept his hair longer, it's cool! Image Image

That's Deen? How great is that? I'll bet he's got stories about his involvement with Ozzie.

And Neal, and Jon and Ross, And Stevie and Me and The Crew and everyone else doesn't NEED it either, for that matter. The problem comes from WANT and boredom. That and a relative disconnect from reality.

For the really GOOD stories, ask about Mrs. Ozzy......

Apparently she let Deen go because his drumming was too "busy". At least that's what's going around the internet.

I think he sounds great and it sounds to me like Joe Holmes (he's an amazing talent on guitar) is playing slightly behind the beat. I don't think that's because of Deen.

we've tried to get him to talk about it--he's won't!

thanks for that link. I've always wondered how it was. but it's Deen so it has to be deeno-mite. :D I haven't quite gotten up the nerve to get Ozzmosis. I have all the band member's side projects except this.....

I'm being an idiot. My second arena concert was Black Sabbath and Mountain when I was 15. ah.. the early 70's. we loved Ozzie. we still do!

my first arena concert? Neal Schon and Santana, of course.

this is great--thanks.
