Bootleg Question...

So I'm listening to "Remember Me" from Augeri's first show with Journey.
I THINK this was in San Francisco (Elf: "Fran-sis-co, Fransis-co").

Anyway, Steve introduces the new song and instead of going into the song, there's a pause and Schon starts playing some blues licks and Augeri says something to the effect of "oops, sorry, as you know I'm a bit nervous, blah blah" then they finally do "Remember Me". Anyway. I'm curious what this was about. Did he just read the songlist incorrectly or was there something else that was supposed to happen? Wasn't at the show but I imagine some of you were. Just curious. Thanks.
