"Great line-up, Ken! Do you and/or your show have a MySpace page? You should try to get some of the guys from SS on your show, too! And I'm available as well!:-D Anyway, keep us updated!
By the way, the word from George at Boston_rocks is that tensions are now cooling between Anthony Cosmo and Tom Scholz, which I'm glad to hear. George mentioned that maybe Anthony had a change of heart or was given a warning. Those are both good guesses and I've thought of another possibility as well. Maybe Tom is trying to avoid a PR disaster. Journey screwed up big time last year when they went about a month without addressing reports that Steve Augeri was lip syncing in concert.
I don't think they ever did address it but rather simply announced that he was being temporarily replaced by Jeff Scott Soto. But a few weeks ago, they announced that Soto is now permanently in the band, replacing Augeri. That certainly creates the impression that the previous claim about Soto being a temporary replacement was merely damage control. I guess had they announced immediately that the switch was permanent, it would have been a more obvious admission that the lip syncing rumors were true.
Soto is a great singer, but they should have taken Jeremey Hunsicker of Elemental and the Journey tribute band Frontiers. I'm not exaggerating when I tell you that I would be completely convinced he was Steve Perry if I didn't know better. It's chilling!
By the way, does anybody remember the two Journey video games - the coin operated one, simply called Journey, and the Atari 2600 one, called Journey Escape?"
