I got the first season on DVD earlier this month and I'm flying through them. This is one of the best sci-fi series I've ever watched, and I've been through all the Star Treks, etc., etc.

granny!! football is on.. and on the discovery channel , the last
steve irwin shoot is being shown.. battlestar gallactica's last
season was in '81,,, starbuck, apollo , and boomer..

Screw Football, The New Battlestar has been on for 3 seasons....one of the very best on SCI-FI!!!next of Stargate SG-1

What kind of crazy steno pool computer is that!!! did they really navigate the universe using that?

It's like the computers they used at NASA during the Apollo missions. They say the average or low end cell phone has more computing power than they had back then in the space capsules.

I am watching Sinful Secretaries 26. It might be the best in the series.

I'm actually working on those DVDs as well. I have the first two seasons. Excellent show.

Rumors abound that this show is not long for this earth.
Ratings have gone down since season one and cancelling shows in their prime has been a sci-fi channel m.o.
Sliders built the network and they cancelled it citing 'low ratings' even though the ratings were as good as when Jerry O'Connell remained the star. A few years later, they cancelled their flagship show "Farscape" citing low ratings and that the plot was too dense for casual viewers (just a few months earlier they were singing its praises).

Kinda like Journey, the sci-fi channel has burned many loyal fans repeatedly.

"Battlestar Galactica" is easily the most convulted sci-fi show on the airwaves right now.
Despite Butford's earnest attempt to draw in eyeballs, I don't think new viewers can join in even if they wanted to.
It's a great show if you stick with it.

Yep..I'm a huge sci-fi nerd and love the new Galactica!!
