radio play

Postby treetopovskaya » Tue Jan 23, 2007 1:13 pm

how can we as fans help to get jeff scott soto's music played on the radio? i know we can call but if they don't have cds to play... can we send them stuff? it's just a thought that came to mind while i'm sitting here listening to tunes. i've let people borrow cds & dvds (dragged their asses to shows) but what else? it can only help journey in the long run if people know who jss is. people are missing out on some good music. it's a crying shame. just imagine if we never knew who steve perry was... umm who he is. }:C((

i want my jeff scott soto t-shirt & beanie! };C))

Unfortunately, the Music Scene ain't what it used to be... :x

The very Generation that PUT Journey and other bands on Top are now being kicked to the curb....because now, "thirtysomething" is considered
"too old"...!!

....and "thirtysomething" was EXACTLY WHEN all those bands hit their stride!!

....How can the World turn THAT MUCH in 20 years...?

I was thinking about this earlier tonight as I was driving...JSS is just as hot (well, more so if you ask me) as guys like Justin Timberlake and other mainstream pop artists. He moves just as well, and there's NO COMPARISON when it comes to vocal ability.

We need to get him SEEN!!!!!! Saturday Night Live, Letterman, etc.

Deano's right, Granny.
Ellen's show is a bad idea.
Besides, it'd be a bunch of dykes that didn't care less
how good Jeff looked :)
Like Deano said, the Big Guns...
Not to mention Direct Tv's "CD USA" show that reaches younger audiences.

And as cheesey as it sounds, if I were Neal, I would be on the phone with
Randy Jackson night and day trying to get the band a guest spot on AI this yer!
You can't get a much bigger Tv audience than that.

Yea, it might seem alittle fruity and gay but Exposure is Exposure.
And ALOT of Exposure to some of the younger audiences is what these guys need.
Face it, just like when we were all teenagers back in the day, clling up the radio
stations to play our favorite Journey songs and flocking to the record stores, the
younger generation today are the ones that are gonna spend the big bucks.
If Journey becomes popular to them then they will become "Popular and Cool"
again to Big Corporate Radio and Tv.
Welcome to Terminus... You hungry?

Carlitto, you are right to a certain point, yea, they need the younger generation but they need ALL GENERATONS.
the older folks are the ones that have the money to spend..and any exposure at this point is good....they need to go to whoever will let them on their shows....First, new CD then hit the shows, as many as they can...
Jeff will pull in all ages!!!!!!!!

PS love your sig..he is my fav. doc!!!!
