ARF Recording (Purple Rain->Faithfully)

While I know I should be studying for a genetics midterm on monday, I was egged on a bit by my co-taper to do some work on the ARF recording. Will still do some tweaking on the sound before the whole set is released, but here's Purple Rain which turns into Faithfully. Did a good amount of processing and put some sweetener in to bring out the vocals and balance out the sound. Hope you guys like it...but it won't be as good as Reno

So RockinDeano....where's the VIDEO?

Hey folks, just a headsup. I clicked on this download just to see how long it would take on dialup and my Nortons immediately sent me a virus warning. I'm doing a scan now, but my computer is acting weird. Be careful.

No reflection in the poster, it's a Winmix associated virus.

I dunno, maybe sendspace is doing something funky. Seems to work fine for me. Besides sendspace, any other good places to toss it up? I like yousendit but it only works for 100 downloads

Wow!!!

That was even better than the YouTube that I've seen before. He does a great job on Purple Rain. Faithfully was great too, but he knocked me on my ass with Purple Rain!!!

I don't suppose there's any chance we'll get to see that live in about 2 weeks....???

Expect the whole set torrented on Dime (and I'm sure mp3'ed on this site) within the week, maybe even this weekend.

Rocking out to Papa was a rolling Stone, JSS is channeling his inner temptation inside him!

Still got a few tweaks with the sound but sounds pretty nice.

Bravo!

That there is some nice sounds coming out of my speakers.... I like the mix. Sounds good for the limited amount of goodness you had to work with but then there was no "sauce" to mix out of this recording.

For real... nice job by the band for the sweet donation of music.

I like Store and Serve. Lets you see how many downloads have been done to a show, etc...
Mega is good, but I have a lot of problems with it.

Wow, if I close my eyes, it's almost like being there....again!

Dispite the technical problems they were having that night, the show was still great.

Thanks for the clips!!

Whole show, including both the raw version and the remastered version, is up on Dime. I'm sure mp3 copies will get posted--just don't burn and trade the mp3 copies.

If/When somebody encodes it onto mp3, please use a good bitrate. Something like a high VBR or a 256kps CBR
